I made an effort to visit the numerous Catholic churches and cathedrals whenever possible. I did not accomplish my goal in Rome of visiting the four Major Papale churches but I wanted to visit the many churches and cathedrals in Florence. There were many, practically at every corner of the city so I took time to visit and light a candle for my parents.
