Undoubtedly kishor da was a legend who never learnt hindi classical music, but it was Pancham who made him sing the ultimate classical songs by teaching. Amit kumar gave all the credit of a popular song to his father on kapil sharma show, but the reality is it was pancham who made rajesh khanna, kishor kumar, sanjay dutt, sunny, asha ji, gogi, gulshan bawara, vidhu vinod, amol palekar and many more... Some of them were already known names but got actual recognition after pancham gave music for them... Even without charging a single penny and spending from his own pocket...
But he did not stand up for Suman Kalyanpur.. got scared of the Mangeshkar family clout.. 😂

I have a few Nigerian friends in their mid 50s , they have all seen this movie (Sholay) and loved it. This was the time people thought Bollywood will surpass Hollywood one day such was the standard of this film in terms of camera work , music , etc etc at that time

I was born in 80. Those days the musicians had to come very close to the mic and then play their instruments. That's why they had to sit very close to each other to record loudly which was a challenging task for them. Really they were true masters..hatsoff!

Seeing Sanjay Gandhi was good. Dilip sahab command over languages is unmatchable. It's like we can listen to him for hours. And of course the title song of sholay is nice, we hardly pay attention to the title songs because of the casting.
