Tip on starting your blower. I used to struggle like that too. Then someone told me to do it like this: Put throttle all the way 100% rabbit Set choke on Prime a couple times on the bulb Pull starter rope. It will start in one or two pulls, then turn off choke and adjust your throttle. This changed my life.
Thank you I’ll do that, yeah I popped open the spark plug and it had a bit of corrosion come up over the last couple months since I used it, hit it with some sand paper and got it fired right up, I went with the 58v echo blower since tho cause of the fumes lol

I gotta say, touchless wash soaps like this one (ive used this brand and wash chem) make life awesome, not just almost perfect wash with no touching (besides towell drying, i havent upgraded to a blower yet) but also getting in the areas like wheel wells and frames and other nooks and crannys that you normally wouldnt get too on a quick basic wash, and just makes the vehicle look that much better when all those areas get cleaned up vs hand washes where you dont get paid enough or have enough time to take the time and scrub it with a detail brush to clean it all up. These products are just awesome, also i like the chem x more than wash chem, just that much more efficient and better clean, just ordered my first supply of snake oil and so excited to try that out!

Nice vid man. Couple of suggestions if you ever see this comment....voice overs on certain areas where camera talk isn't necessarily needed. And clay bar for the windows/windshield 👍

First time watching your video content from a drivers point thats a brand new rig after your finished. For sure slammed the Like button and Subscribed. Clean on my Friend Clean on.
Need to buy some of your products and give my ram truck a good wash. Central New York winters take a toll on my truck. road salt and sand everywhere on this truck.
A no touch system is fine for a quick wash but if you take a truck you no touch washed to a big show (truckers jamboree, shell super rigs, Louisville, etc) your going to get docked huge in the points, truck shined up good for a hour wash but the steps/visor/ bumper/diamond tread needs cut, the tanks especially the fuel caps and surrounding area needs hit, and he better get that wheel seal fix at the very least it’s gonna junk that durabrite but the dot will have fun with it to.
Yeah two step touchless on it’s own is just a shortcut in between a hands on wash, it can be useful to minimize scratching before a friction wash tho. But yeah the truck wasn’t headed to Louisville this truck went right back to the rock quarry the next day lol

I operate a 100ft landing craft with a mantis 18 ton crane on the bow. 2 months out of year it's in a salt water environment. What would you recommend for repelling salt water spray and corrosion? Something I can apply before heading out the locks into salt water.
What's the target market for this truck wash bay? I wouldn't have thought many truck companies would want to lose a vehicle for 48 hours to have it look this good? The quantities of the various sprays you used seems a lot, is there a reason you use so much? That truck looked awesome at the end! The difference between using pre-rinse and not using it surprised me I have to say. Enjoyed this video, good luck with the new bay!

That thing isn't that dirty. At all. In fact, I'd say it's "knock the dust off" It's 100% polished aluminum which is easy to clean. Even looking at the frame before, it's pretty clean.
This, if you can clean it touch-free it was never that dirty to begin with. I ran a detailing business contracted at a Ford dealership for 10 years, no touch products are great, but they're not going to help with truly dirty vehicles.
@@crabmansteve6844 I also used to work detailing fords. Though I worked for the dealership. Currently part-time washing semi trucks. (100% of them are far more dirty than this). As in they're actually used.
These fellas keep up with their stuff pretty well, they do work them hard every day but this is about as dirty as they let them get. Touchless washes are a shortcut they don’t replace an occasional contact wash tho
@@ChemX The only trucks I can say for certain that always seem to be 5/5 clean and are constantly OTR are the Love's tankers. Those guys don't mess around when it comes to upkeep.
If you don little one tons pickups I can not wash my truck the rest of winter and take it off-roading but you’ll have a field day with my engine bay it is always dirty never stays clean for long neither does the rest of my truck but tbh I like to wash my own truck it’s my therapy and how I unwind a little bit

Can you pressure wash the truck first to get all the heavy dirt off then use the touch free stuff or does it need to be dry when you apply it. Nice job anyway I drove mixers for years we had to use acid to get the concrete and cement off of the truck and it ate the aluminum wheels and chrome etc.

OK! You've got me! Subscribed . Have you ever tried to not use the foam cannon and instead use a compressor to apply (using a shutz gun i believe). I've used a foam canon, but wasn't as good as the compressor. Let me know your findings. Cheers.

@@ChemX unfortunately all my experience with audio mixing is with live performances so I can’t tell you much as far as Final Cut Pro specifics, but just try to adjust the audio levels of the music down to match your voice’s average level, then bring the whole level up to what sounds reasonable to you. I’m sure there’s some good videos specific to Final Cut Pro / production sound that could help. Good luck, look forward to more vids.

Some guys who run box trucks just use 275g totes they’re cheap and have a 2” outlet and valve at the bottom
