Ishizu (Mudora and Keldo) in most cases, make Byssted monsters miss. But yeah, Byssted is a solid archetype and have seen play with other engines that let it stick to the current OCG meta. About Dark World, I would only say that I developed a trauma from Grapha fusion + Neko Mane King.

Beatrice combo was kind of nutty
U can play Grand tusk dragon as a hieratic seal target so u can bounce a card and pop 2 card on the opponent turn. It's an extra brick but I think it's worth it
GranTusk can be resummoned off of Levianeer for 2 more pops and a R8 summon, which isn't impossible because Seal and Lubellion are LIGHT and Magnumut can not only add Dragons from the deck, but also recycle some as well (re-add Levianeer). The Lv 8 Lubellion can also resummon itself from the GY by tributing a high level monster, so Rank 8's are definitely possible.
@@Goblin_Hands Yes rank 8 are definitely possible. I played Grandtusk in my punk blue eyes deck and it was worth it. Because even if I got hit by dark ruler I could still trigger hieratic seal and pop 2 and it can be turn ending for splight and other many other decks. And next turn I would go into dingirsu to send a card to grave rank it up for pain gainer to pop every monster who has less than 2200 def and finally into seven sins to either deal bunch of damage or go over towers and end on a 4 material Zeus and an opponent with an empty board. Also it can be a 6 material if u use dingirsu's other effect to attach a banished machine (needlefiber) if my opponent used all of his resources to break the board.

I still prefer the branded byssted. One, branded can play super poly to out any board. Two, branded can normal summon Albaz to out any dragon board via Alba Lanatus. I guess that's why ocg also prefers them over Dragon.dek

I feel like Byssted will be good in Branded as well. So much can trigger and happened with those cards.
Rebranded and the trap branded beast work well since it is branded support
tidying is really funny bounce back the byssted you summon from seal and then resummon it
The rank 6 xyz coming out in dabl called wallow is amazing in bystedd dragonlink
It's basically another D.D. Crow like these (but reshuffles instead of Banishes), but if you detach 2 materials you place the card on your field like Toadally Awesome.
(It also has a ATK boost like Shadow Ghoul, except for the opponent's GY CARDS rather than your monsters, and is overall stronger at 2400.)
It can be used against Spell and Trap and non-Light/Dark monsters unlike the Byssted effects. Too bad it doesn't also target banished cards so you can interrupt Floowandereeze, but as far as Rank 6's, the only other good ones are Beatrice and Atum, but it is DARK, so you can summon it after you use Rokket effects.

Branded it is built for so it really gives the deck a boost but I think in time D-Link will figure out how to maximize it.

Byssted is busted
Just going to say this: people bitch when Drytron have 7+ interruptions. But get hyped and praise dragonlinks 8+ interruptions. Okay then
It's simple: Because Drytron is too boring.
It's Archetype-based and very limited in non-Drytron cards, and is also a newish deck (not classic/nostalgic/anime), but not new enough to get new support (it's not going to improve anytime soon).
Dragons have evolved since basically the beginning of the game, (at least since REDMD) and aren't restricted to Rokkets and the most annoying card: Herald of Perfection (because it is only 1 boss monster, it has weaknesses: Kaiju's, Solemn Strike, and just being boring). There are way more Dragon builds using engines like Red-Eyes, Blue-Eyes, Dragunity, and Dragons are the coolest-looking archetype, Machines are probably top 5, but Dinosaurs and Zombies are likely better, and Drytron doesn't even allow other Machines or non-Fairy Rituals to shine, like you can't really make a CyDra, ABC, Jinzo, Geargia, Ancient Gear, Barrel Dragon, Kozmo hybrid, and Chaos MAX is like the next best non-Fairy Ritual but you can't even use something like Iblee or Dogmatica or Archlord Krystia or Darklord Despia to make the most of it.
At least that's my take on it. Drytrons are very powerful, but at this point, who would get excited over them? With Floowandereeze out, Stormwinds might even prevent any summons at all. Hand Traps can be Tuners for Halq in DragonLink, in Drytron they are just Hand Traps. Dragon Link is also known as one of the most difficult decks to play optimally, which means it takes more practice, skill, time, and can be more fun.
I'm just providing theories. I was excited for Drytrons, but everyone sort of determined they are only good with Fairies (which they certainly are best with) killed a good deck building experience.
Dragon Link is aesthetically cool and doesn’t use Herald of Perfection as a boss monster.
@@Goblin_Hands First of. Drytron has alot of variety these days noone plays herald of ult or perfect anymore. Secondly Drytron uses tons of none drytron cards go look up a few of the variations. Thirdly you just hypocrited yourself so if its an archetype you enjoy its ok to be stupidly broken, so the hate for drytron having a combo like this is critised but not dragonlink because tis cool ... your reasoning is dumb my friend
@@Goblin_Hands Also wrong about Drytron. I am part of a drytron theory group and we have used a multitude of different ritual monsters including dogmatikas ritual monster. Drytron surface level is basic, but what you can do with the deck is insane if you think about it. I did decent in a regional playing a personalised deck as a test, ran machine angel ritual 1 copy to dump using beatrice when we had 1 eva. to have a protection on board. You just need creativity with drytron and it can be very unique
@@lukewilliams1323 That's super cool that Drytron's can work with Dogmatica and Beatrice, and I never doubted their power. They are a solid deck, but Dragons are still a ton of fun, they also play a lot like Lightsworns, Chaos Dragons, Tele-DAD, Dragon Rulers, etc.
When Eva was used was when people complained about it having too many negates; if they no longer have the Herald's and Eva and Union Carrier, then people have nothing to complain about. The point you made was referring to people having an issue with them having too many negates, but now the deck is adapting to different strategies.
And as far as complaining, Dragons get a lot of complaints. Every card people want on the banlist is basically from Dragons deck: Halq, Chaos Ruler, Scythe/Dagda. Yes they are generic, but most players are not using Dragons, but are using Floowandereeze, Splight, Tearlaments, etc.
