- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed his commitment to peace following discussions with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer in Vienna. "India and Austria both put the emphasis on dialogue and diplomacy, for the rapid restoration of peace and stability," Modi said at a press conference. The two-day trip to Austria comes off the back of his visit to Moscow during which he called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to seek a peaceful end to the war in Ukraine.
