I got the same one off Amazon but the original price range was about $97. Now I had a $25 Amazon gift card and it was free shipping so I bought it at around $72.35 not to bad honestly. I love how it's easy to install and to load the mag, the power is also pretty good puts holes into sheetrock, so it definitely has some power to it for a spring loaded sniper. But over all the scope it came with was pretty shitty just a plastic piece of junk, just might as well buy a better one with decent range and actual glass sights. But over all I absolutely love it and great for beginners as well. A definite must buy
So basically a fully upgraded AEG and a Fully upgraded sniper almost shoot the exact same. I would recommend an AEG to start, no ghille, or buy the sniper and install a low power scope and play very aggressively. Don't sit back with the sniper, go towards the enemy and be more of a DMR for your squad and let your AEG'S cover you
It depend what is your position in the squad, but I also think like Nate, that your first replica should be a well rounded AEG rifle. I am with only left leg ( right one I've left in Afghanistan ) , and my role in the squad is more static . My team giving me a good range position on a high ground and I am the man with one shot-one kill , but always have with me an AEG pistol for the cases when "the shits hits the fan" . Snipers are good at a big range, but don't have good enough speed fire for more active operations on the field .
I know this is probably late but u still using this gun? How has it held up so far. Me and my friends have woods behind our houses where we play 2v2s and we are buying our mains, this is what I want I just need to know if it holds up well
It is still kicking and shooting very well. Just don't throw it to the ground or use the sling mounts! They are made from aluminum and will bend bend bend and then break
I've tried mine with 0,25 ; 0,28 & 0,32 g BB's and the best results I've got with 0,28 g ASG diamond grade BB's . it's hit hard up to 60 meters and going thru a cardboard . At 150 feet I've never missed a cardboard box 1 x 1 ft.
So i bought this very gun but they didnt show the box and apperently the seller was double eagle, i was expecting a different box or to see double eagle x matrix but all thays on here is bbtac, are they the same company? Double Eagle Field Marksman Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle Gun FPS 480 Thats the name of what i bought and they're virtually the same i just wanted to make sure im getting all i set out for ya'know?
They are all the same oem factory, So basically yes. It's a rebranding. They have those different packages like a included scope n laser and extra Mags buy They all come off the same assembly line. Sometimes there are 2 stage quality control from the distributors such as ASG.
@@Dickens75 ah alrighty then, I was just surprised not seeing double eagle anywhere but the listing, I been shooting it awhile now it's really nice. Got zip ties and some small sticks trying to fit a laser and I got it I just need a toggle and some extra wiggle security
If they're 6mm bbs. I suppose the material wouldn't matter as long as they fit the barrel like an airsoft bb. They may be very weighty which wouldnt be too bad unless they'd make it past .40g for being metal. Hope I helped, .25g 6mm is gonna be the best bb for this gun.
Scope is just a useless piece of plastic . If you wanna hit targets at 100+ ft. better go for a proper scope like 3-9 x 40 . Well, in that case you going to spend equal or bigger amount of cash for the scope than the cost of the sniper itself, but there's no other way to get good accuracy . The power and the consistant fps are there, out of the box .
The paper that comes with the rifle explains that the scope is meant for astetics and to buy their "hunter scope" instead. The bipod, I just can't imagine I'd need that often so two pieces of plastic will cost you $50 more for the bundle with the two assesories. Stick to stock gun and buy you a nice little scope, even if it's just a crappy reflex that you can sjust with an Allen wrench

is it worth the purchase i’ve been thinking about getting it
yes! It's the same as the ASG M40, if you like the of green you can spray paint this one, or just buy the ASG for 10$ more bucks.
