Love this place. So beautiful and always sealed tight. We've never got in sadly. The smaller building is the old stables. I'm super embarrassed. The bunker, well we bever realised what it was and you walked in and got it straight away. That itself is super active so explains why. We never noticed the graves outside it but tbh hen ever we've been the grass has been always massively over grown.
Aha yeah the bunker section is part of the old church which is part of the grounds so is a mausoleum, at the back is where mementos and offerings would have been put for the dead
Where those big gates are on the second building you checked out are thousands of hand made roof tiles👍🏽 used to be a couple old tractors in there too, bell tower you used to be able to get up to aswell before they removed it
It's not a security booth. There's no security or cameras. We've been loads at night time though. The part behind the stables is holes in fence to get it in. Loads people go day and night. There might be workers in the daytime as they're renovating it. New roof on recently but they don't bother you.
I’ve been inside, there usto be an open door you could walk through, not much in there to be honest it’s pretty empty. If you walked all the way round there’s a little witch hut with a pentagram on the floor you can go in. People would drink in there as teens.
Aha yeah would of been cool to see inside however heard its not the best. Tbh was more bothered about the grounds which are lovely and style of buildings
@@BeardedReality yes i think it was in the 80s i went, im sure the stable had been turned into some kind of gallery didn't recognize it until i was the circle and the big gates in the middle
There’s plenty of information on the hall on line if you’d researched it. The ‘bunker’ isn’t a mausoleum, it’s an ice house and cold store. The other block you describe as housing for the workers is the stable block and coach house which is pretty obvious if you know anything about estate houses
When you visit as many places as I do there is not time however the videos and comments are designed for discussion and people to share about places but as I always say cannot please everyone so if you don't like don't watch and sod off 😂😂😂
@@BeardedRealitywell, aren't you nice. Great way to get people to like and follow you. Plenty of other, better, explorers to watch who do their homework instead of making shit up so, yeah, won't bother with you again
@merylwhittington1486 well maybe I don't appciate the original comments tone or yours it is no loss to me I enjoy what I do and if people want to come along for the ride awesome if not I won't lose sleep over it 😂
@merylwhittington1486 and on top of that I care about my channel and unlike alot of others I take the time to reply to every single person so with thousands of comments it gets to be alot so yes I am a nice person but won't take bs from people either 😊
Great video! We want to go to the church and graveyard at night with a medium. I know the hall itself is priavte property but do you know if the church is? Don't want to go and get kicked off
If you cross the road in the woods somewhere or a field just out of the wood can’t remember I was only 13 or so 42 now. I was exploring there’s a gate with iron bars leading in to a room under ground All I remember was someone around me at the time say it’s the old slaughter house 🤷
Yes I’m a local to here was here on these grounds the other day and they are currently putting new roof on and securing the grounds more it looks like now. Nice place scary at night👻
Hey bearded reality serious do you really film all your busts as a fellow explorer I just can’t get my head around why you filmed a bust and posted it I was really looking forward to this video because of the content but I was very disappointed it’s 13mins and 18 secs of my night I’m not gonna get back I’m disappointed the description led me to believe you explored a 13th century hall please inform us in future
@paulyptv427 well good sense would tell you 13mins and 18secs would never be long enough to get around a place like Annesley and grounds so . . . . and there goes 2mins of my time I'll never get back explaining the bleeding obvious 🤣
Beautiful place and beautiful country side thanks for a great video.
Glad you enjoyed the content

I wish they would still do tours around the place
Yes places like these would be great for tours shame

Aha well worth a look around lovely place and seems very left tbh
Yeah certain parts seem like they are being secured and stabilised not sure how they are gonna renovate this yet
Very interesting walk around. Shame you didn't get in but, like you said, good it's being protected from the wrong element.
Agreed I still get some footage and still see the place so it's good it's protected
Grats on being about to pass 10k Subs

Why haven't they restored this could then do tours to make money for its upkeep so sad need to keep these places it's what people want to see
Yes shame it's left rotting
Good video. But these places definitely aren't being protected. Just rotting slowly.
Massive shame right

Would assume an old church would not be
