Mean looking head for sure. That whistling you heard isn’t good. I’m not impressed with the screw blade holding/ retention design. Is the screw too loose or too tight? It’s like some internal friction on the blades. Be better off if it had an o-ring or little silicon band holding the blades IMO
What's up bro. Yea that thing was frustrating. Yea essentially it looks like it just squeezes the blades which is strange because that means every shot is going to have a different deployment pressure requirement if that makes sense. At g5 for the new T2 broadheads for example, I watched them test each and every broadhead as they went out the door to make sure the resistance was at 4-5 pounds or something like that. This broadhead could be anything. Plus the durability is awful. You might as well buy a chinese head imo.
Just shoot at 20-30 yards. You can tighten the screw down to hold the blades shut for practice. I have used them, after stropping the blades. They cut a mean wound channel. You are right, not durable. They fly great out of my xbow (which is what I use them in. Fixed only in my vertical) and deer go down fast.. REALLY fast. I just found them for $20/3, so I will use them again. As far as the set screw... Try READING the instructions... You know, those word thingies on the packaging..
Nah but I did see them online. I've purchased 20 broadheads to test out for this deer season, so I'm just going to pick from what i got, but I'm going to add this to the list when i do my series for spring turkey season. Those seem to get good reviews. thanks man.
I realy dont get it... i shoot those broadhead for the last 6 or 7 years, im about 5pack of them ! First of all, the Allen key is in the package, and if you read on the package they explain how to set the screw if you shoot bow or crossbow ! I shot bear, moose and deer with this broadhead never fail and always amazing blood trail ! Are they the most durable ? Probably not, but they are good broadhead ! The only complain i have about them, is that i would like them sharper out of the pack !
Well maybe I lost the allen key when I opened the pack, I never found one. If you like them, that's all that matters, I just don't like them personally.

Yea they are disgusting for a wound channel. One and done though. Come on bro, who reads instructions? :P
Try rage extreme hybrid broadheads
I may do that next go round.
I'm using them this year, a little scared they won't open on deer. Guess we'll see
Just read the directions.
If you are looking for a good hybrid, check out the evolution outdoors Hyde, took an antelope with it this year and it is a killer head
Going to check em out turkey season when I test again. i did about 20 heads for deer season, wrote this one down. Thanks bro.
Have you tried the evolution hybrid? I can’t remember which but it’s the Jekyll or Hyde.

My set came with an Allen key 😂
Mine probably did too lol. Probably fell out on the ground somewhere when i ripped the package open. Who knows lol.
Mine didn't come with the Allen?
@@Yelladog78 Lol i'm telling you I don't think mine came with one either, but I could of dropped it when opening package or something, who knows.

You are expecting people to actually READ??? That is a foreign concept...
seems like you are asking for problems with hybrids. the standard swhacker 1.75" is where its at.
I like the swhacker. I tested that one earlier during the series. Couple months back i think.
