mad respect for those brave soldiers (welders , mechanics , etc) for salvaging what can be salvaged
Back at the ranch, Russian welders, mechanics etc are being mobilized for the front line.
Они хоть дома ночуют , а не в окопах , под обстрелом .
Russia = the number 1 arms supplier for Ukraine!
can you please tell what the asgardsrei festival is?
Clean salvage title 👌 😎
I’m a machinist and mechanic. Bring tears to my to see these soldier beating the enemy with their own armor. Don’t get any better than that.
👍🇬🇧🇺🇦
Without the mechanics, you you ain't going anywhere
My son use to go to Ukraine with support 2/3 times every month.
I gave him some tools to give to Ukrainians, old, but well mainteined and in good conditions.
Next time will give my impact wrench, almoast not used just few times.
Hope will work well and for good reason.
That is a definition of Lend-Lease, right?
Tear to your eyes are you alright in the head ?
The fact that they're also mobile is just amazing. It's not even an easy job in a normal workshop, but moving around makes it more like magic
Really impressive.
Thats what they are supposed to do. All armies have that ability
@@cplcabs except Russians thank god

The technical skills of the Ukrainian army are amazing. After this damned war, they deserve great careers.
Of what I suspect with that experience of both, ruSSian and western war technologies, knowledge of weak/strong points of armament and knowledge of maintenance ..... we could be learned by Ukrainians.
With enough support from west after that war Ukraine army would be one of the best in the world.
Slavic people unite only in dire times nothing of that will happen
They really are. I knew a Ukrainian kid who changed the springs on his car with a hammer, a wrench and 2x4. -- which is basically impossible.
"After this damned war, they deserve great careers." And normal lives.
@@captainbaboo7677 this isn't cod stop
The funny thing is, that's the most maintenance those vehicles seen in 20+ years.
100% yes.
I said the same thing, this has probably been sitting in storage for years.
@Tony King For?
@Tony King See the story about the Moskva. Why was it sunk? One of the reasons was maintenance. And that was their FLAGSHIP. These things? Not maintained properly. No way.
"We don't need a ride, we need bullets!"...Still best quote from the war
The last guy backed that trailer straightbackward into a narrow door. The guy is a pro.
On soft footing too. No concrete slabs there.
This is how wars are actually won. Manufacturing, logistics, refurbishing and repurposing enemy vehicles/platforms.
For the most part Russia tends to win wars simply by throwing large numbers of bodies and artillery at "the problem". They never actually improve from what worked or didn't. In boxing it'd be like having an amateur super heavy weight fighting a professional welterweight. From a pure numbers perspective or "tale of the tape", it'd appear that the super heavy weight would easily win. Even though much lighter, a smarter and nimbler professional could compete.
@@brianwoods9552 Unfortunately throwing Cannon fodder to the Frontlines does not work on modern warfare, main targets for smart weapons are Supply lines, HQs and Commanders.
Without those all the Cannon fodder will run out of ammo and fuel achieving zero successes on the battlefield
“Amateurs study tactics, professionals study logistics.” - US General Omar Bradley
From the film Heartbreak Ridge: "Improvise. Adapt. Overcome."
@@brianwoods9552 dude, the numbers are not on the russian side in this war... russia didnot win ww2 with sheer numbers but also with strtegy/ logistics/manufacturing etc. "large numbers" cant win a war
Those vehicles finally see something they barely never saw before... maintenance !
Heroes. Without these guys to fix and maintain, there would be no victory. Just goes to show what happens behind the front is just as important as what happens at the front.
I really admire the Ukrainians. What strong resourceful people.

Just dont eat the brainwashing factor it was the 2nd poorest European country with a corruption index of 122 out of 180 followed by Russia at No 136. The army had about 1500 tanks on paper and could use only several hundred. They had several thousend of the above though let it rotting on open fields and now need to repair captured equipment instead. The same applies for every sector, crumbling roads and infrastructure. Russian inharitance of way of living.
These guys are so determined and courageous that every soldier can emulate them.
If Ukraine can pull this one out it'll be a David and Goliath story that will live for centuries.

The British armed services are given specific training on how to make assets unusable if they are at risk of being captured by the enemy. I expect other first world military likewise. Putin's conscripts just run away. Really impressed by the adaptability and skill of the Ukrainian military.
Hmmm what about Americans in Afganistan?
@@lindas2531 American military equipment was mostly withdrawn with departing troops, or destroyed. The mass of equipment the Taliban captured was equipment operated by the Afghan army that the US gave them. I believe they sabotaged aircraft mostly, but even then, a number of former ANA helicopters are flying with the Taliban
@@lindas2531 the equipment that the Taliban used was donated by US for Afgahn government sadly those people easily surrendered to Taliban when could used it against them and with no parts replacement its useless too. Look at the diy repair black hawk that fell in the sky.
@@lindas2531 Yeah that was actually America’s biggest success in Afghanistan all US military equipment was destroyed or sold off before they left. The ANA though… is a different story
Hard work requiring constant effort and expertise. They deserve any praise they get. A repaired weapon at the front is worth several back at a factory somewhere. They save lives.
Great idea to “ Sand the deck “ so the tracks don’t do damage and chew the concrete up ! Not seen anyone check a battery like that for a long time !

Dear readers. Urgent small fee for citizens of Ukraine
Before the war I never knew ukraine is a strong player in the world's economy. I also never knew they a jack of all trades. Anything you think of ukraine can do it. It's a small but gifted nation. Bravo ukraine
Не такая Украина и маленькая страна, по территории самая большая в Европе (раша не в счёт потому что больше её территории находятся в Азии) населением 42 миллиона
@@user-qi9qi2yu7f russia does count, also to an american even ukraine is small. Its only the size of a state to us. Our country is the size of europe
@Jallow Jerry I wouldn't consider Ukraine to be a small country, especially by European standards.
@@Myemnhk россия вообще не Европа. 80% её территории находится в Азии
The EU and the western world are going to benefit hugely from an independent Ukraine, it can replace much of what Russia provided in terms of natural resources. Plus they will have a strong military and likely lead Europe with combat experienced troops. Many positives coming from this awful and unjustified war.
I am very impressed with the skills of the Ukrainian soldiers. They are very well rounded fighters. God bless Ukraine!

well both sides use more or less the same equipment, so fixing up captured enemy equipment is relatively easy
Ukraine will get a lot of practice at this that's for sure.
This conflict isn't over until the US says it is.
But until then the US will continue to make $ from it. Ensure prices rise, and their $ rises at the expense of everyone else.

Its like a Thanksgiving present.
How kind of the Europe and USA to send so much arms and equipment to Ukraine.!
It's amazing what the Ukrainians have achieved with limited means!!!
Slava Ukraine💪💪💪
💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛
The equipment is finally getting the initial maintenance that never got under the "original owners" and with a warranty.
Ukraine is gonna be so ridiculously armed after the war. From the west and stuff they capture and repurpose. Probably be one of the strongest militaries in Europe when it's all said and done.
Don't tell Vlad... he wants Ukraine to be demilitarised so he'll throw a tantrum.
Certainly the most experienced, they'll probably get to teach classes to NATO staff when they finally join.
Yes and no. They have such a diversity of weapons that maintaining them will be really hard. Also, they need a huge variety of shells.
Before the war Ukraine could barely buy Western arms because of their weak currency. After the war, military support will decrease and Western spare parts and ammo will become too expensive again.
I think after the war, Ukraine should re-arm again to standardise a bit.
