For the most part Russia tends to win wars simply by throwing large numbers of bodies and artillery at "the problem". They never actually improve from what worked or didn't. In boxing it'd be like having an amateur super heavy weight fighting a professional welterweight. From a pure numbers perspective or "tale of the tape", it'd appear that the super heavy weight would easily win. Even though much lighter, a smarter and nimbler professional could compete.

Yes and no. They have such a diversity of weapons that maintaining them will be really hard. Also, they need a huge variety of shells.
Before the war Ukraine could barely buy Western arms because of their weak currency. After the war, military support will decrease and Western spare parts and ammo will become too expensive again.
I think after the war, Ukraine should re-arm again to standardise a bit.

Since the beginning of September Ukraine has captured more than 400 Russian tanks that still work!! I think the T-72 is the most common tank captured but also plenty of T-80's and now even T-62's!!!
Ukraine didn't capture its first T-62 until September and now it has enough of them to form an entire battalion of its own!! That certainly doesn't bode well for the state of the Russian tank force!!
