The Kyosho legendary buggies are amazing. We took out the Tomahawk in the sand about a week ago. They look great running and sound as smooth as they drive. Great video Shen 👍🏼

Great video Steve! That Scorpion seems to handle really well for a rear drive buggy. Balance seems really good with good steering control. Really beautiful car!

@@ShenRC On an unrelated note I thought I had my Mad Force Kruiser VE v1 all rebuilt, nope. I missed the chewed up front drive cup out of the transmission and a slightly bent front driveshaft. So, ordered more parts. I hope that new front USA-1 universal driveshaft shows up as a part I can purchase soon, tired of chewing up front drive cups and losing the front driveshaft. Kyosho finally giving us universal driveshafts, so excited...lol.

These drive so nice! I run stock tamiya 540 silver can kit motors in all mine now they run fast with the stock motors. You will love it!

That's actually faster than I thought, with a Torque Tuned in it... Just on 2s? Sounds really smooth and nice, I gotta say, both on the road and on the gravel.

That's a great running video Steve! I can see exactly how that car performs. The stacks are great to see too. I have a turbo scorpion ready to build. Love the paint job you did on your scorpion but don't know if I'm adventurous enough to do it. See how I feel when I get to that stage...

Steve, that is an awesome, classic Buggy!! Definitely on my list. 😁 It will only be my 3rd Kyosho, in 38 years! 😲 Missed it the first time around, but I hear that the rere is just as nice - with original style packaging. Something Tamiya SHOULD do, given the COST of their Kits lately! 😖😠
25+mph with just a 25T Torque Tuned Motor. That's truly impressive!! And you didn't go easy on it, but it seemed to take the beating pretty well. 👍👍
This buggy is awesome it's like the original but kyosho upgraded the drive line and made it brushless ready. It was crazy how good it ran over the bumpy rocks ..I was very impressed for a vintage buggy. Thank you for watching.

Gee it been so long I think it's a 1060 hobby wing esc..could be a stock tamiya one and the battery is a 30C I believe

Probably not already have the foxx it's basically the same thing.
You know that I can still buy that for like $230 just one of them cheapest legendary series I think the turbo scorpions the same price made me slightly more.
