Tantum Ergo

Tantum Ergo is another part of the composition of St. Thomas Aquinas' Pange Lingua. Often used before the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament while the Presider incenses the Most Holy Sacrament.
On The Mass of the Lord's Supper, the hymn is sung after the Blessed Sacrament is reposed inside the Altar of Reposition. The Presider then incenses the Altar of Repose.
