I live in Canada and I know China and Canada are having issues currently, but I'm not convinced this is the cause of the delay...
One-handed gimbals are one-handed gimbals at the end of the day, it honestly just depends on the operator, how well they balanced their setup and focal length at which they film at. You could buy a Zhiyun Crane V2 (2 year old gimbal) and do some serious damage with it.
I’m getting a gimbal soon. Looks like the Moza Air 2 for me . I’d usually go for the one with the best customer service. But using an app and cell phone to make changes is the dumbest thing ever. Like Sony vs Fujifilm. Diving into bad menus over quickly turning a physical dial . Really. There are so many things going on setting up on set . Diving into menus and going into apps on cell phones don’t make sense. Way to much fiddling around. That’s why BlackMagic went from no buttons on there old mini to many on the URSA mini pro 4.6k . And simplified the menus. We need to have things fast , strong and simple .

Two questions Mauro. Can the Moza 2 handle the weight and setup to include a small 7-inch monitor above the camera (along with BMPCC and standard lens)? And you didn't compare the balancing time/difficulty between the two. Which is faster and easier overall to balance? Thanks.

Took me forever to make a decision for which gimbal to get. I had just got the crane plus then found out about the moza air 2. If i didn't travel that much i would definitely send it back and get the air 2, but i like the cranes small size to fit in my bag and not be a pain when i go places. Only major downside is that the app doesn't work for shit on androids. I dont even have a cheap one, i own the galaxy s8 plus and its just absolutely garbage that im not able to fully use the gimbal. Thinking about picking up a cheap older iphone just to be able to use it.
do you think it is a true comparison with two diffferent cameras? maybe air2 could handle the sony camera as well as the ronin s does...sony camera is smaller, maybe easier to keep it in balance..
Ciao. Bel lavoro! Mi dice quali difficoltà ci sono per la pocket 4k? Si riesce a bilanciare manualmente sul Moza? Come hai comandato start/stop? Che io sappia non c'è modo di remotarlo dallo stabilizzatore. Grazie
Excellent Video @Mauro I think this is the first head to head video of these two gimbals I've seen. I would love to see the portability in a future video, for those of us that don't use any (Moza bags). I'm sure you have intuitive ways to share how best to travel with this equipment. would you consider showing the functions the Moza Air 2 have via the control, to operate the camera? I'm a Sony shooter ( A7 lll ) but any or all would be amazing. Great job with the production of this video!
Thanks a lot. I didn't find a practical way to carry the Moza Air 2 rather than outside my Manfrotto Mover 50 Backpack on the tripod straps. The Sony is fuy controllable via the dedicated cable..
@@MAUROSFILMS I bought the Ronin SC recently and I love the build quality but I think the payload is just a little below what I need, I have a Sony A7S ii and my main lens is the G Master 24-70mm 2.8, which is just too heavy and large for the SC. But I'm still after a compact gimbal, it seems from your review that the Moza Aircross 2 is the perfect substitute.
Anyone know if the Moza Air 2 is compatible with Panasonic GH5 in terms of using the buttons to start recording/take photo and using the wheel to adjust focus? Thanks!
After using the Moza Air 2 for like 6 weeks now, what bugs me the most is that it starts shaking at weirder angles and you have to lower the motor power to make this go away. Also the "auto-tuned" motor power isn't perfect a perfect value. Lowering the motor power isn't too great however since it makes your footage a bit wobbly, especially when it comes to keeping the horizon straight. Also the "sports mode" on the Moza Air 2 isn't really great since it only works on the pan motor and that not really well when you don't hold it straight. Will give the Ronin S a try now.
Thanks for this video! I myself use the Ronin s but now after I've seen the video rather to Moza Air 2 fall back! I still noticed the picture, the quality of the Sony for me in this video is much better than that of the BGPC
Yes..i saw it too...i actually like better the SLOG2 on my Sony that the Style used for the Blackmagic Pocket 4K. Maybe the colors on the BMPCK4K are more greenish and tent to look like the ARRI ones but i still prefer SLOG2 on my Sony.

@@_MJ07_ To an extent. We also own the Movi M5 that has two points of contact (Two grip handles), compared to the single grip of the Ronin-S, so because of the two grip handles on the M5, it's MUCH easier to control the vertical bounce. So by nature, having a second arm holding it in a different area absorbs a bit more of the up and down movement. Ultimately, you are right though, it does come down to the operator.

Check the price again on the Ronin-S ;-)
@@MAUROSFILMS I also just bought my Ronin S for $549 US.
Zac Grimaldo you bought it when it was on sale 👌🏼😩
I didn't want to watch this video up to 1min because I already know the Moza Air2 was a clear winner, but man! The background music was so on point, my kind of review music.
And I must say, you are one of the few I know that has made review videos here look and sound so good.
Nice job MAURO!
What features can you control with the cable that connects Moza Air 2 + Pocket 4K ????
Hello whats using for plate ??? name pls pls
It's a Zhiyun riser plate
@@MAUROSFILMS this plate it for BMPCC- in plate ??
MOZA AIR 2 vs DJI RONIN-S Yes I bought 2 of the devices on the Dj's Ronin-s is the best pass transitions to the SUPER Preferences Ronin-s
Do you have trouble balancing a Sigma lens? Cause I do.
Just bought the Moza - awaiting delivery but what i've seen so far the Moza is the choice for me!!
Great
Took me forever to make a decision for which gimbal to get.
Grazie
La Blackmagic non e mia ma del mio amico. Quando faremo una altro video proveremo a usare il cavo che e fatto proprio per la Blackmagic.
Very nice and addictive gimbal review I ever watched. Btw, did you turn them on without a camera on them?
Thanks a lot. Yes you can run them in standby mode with motors off. 😉
Thank you. Excellent review.
hey how did you do the running rootage? were you running alongside or were you in the car with the camera? thanks so much in advance!!
You can see the running alongside the car in the car shadow. Running alongside the car for all shots😉
That part tripped me out. I was thinking how the hell did he get the shot. Then saw him running from the reflection on the side of the car.
Stephen Moore Learn from the master😎😆😎😆
Hi Mauro, love your videos, are you going to do a Moza AirCross2 versus Ronin SC soon?
I could... =)
Thanks!
Yes it's compatible..with the included cable
Do you use the Sigma 19-35 f1.4 art with the sony a73? Is it any good?
Never used and Sigma on my Sony
I am still confuse to which should I have to buy... Bcoz Ronin s is more stable I feel... But the battery is in hand grip... Confused...
For real well i will still give it a try
Did you try it out? I have Moza Aircross 2 that I use with BMPCC4K and I get some wobble and shakiness. Wonder if Ronin is smoother...
wow one of the best videos on the 2 gimbals awesome!
Thanks
sick colors in the beginning!
Thanks😀
The grip on the Ronin S looks much thicker than the Moza Air. Is one or the other more comfortable to hold?
It's actually the same..nothing to be less confortable or more...
Super helpful and efficient. Really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot
I think you should compare with the same camera
Thanks for this video! I myself use the Ronin s but now after I've seen the video rather to Moza Air 2 fall back! I still noticed the picture, the quality of the Sony for me in this video is much better than that of the BGPC
Yes..i saw it too...i actually like better the SLOG2 on my Sony that the Style used for the Blackmagic Pocket 4K. Maybe the colors on the BMPCK4K are more greenish and tent to look like the ARRI ones but i still prefer SLOG2 on my Sony.
Quindi stabilizza meglio il moza o il ronin? Avevo intenzione di prendere il ronin s essential kit ma non sembra male il moza
La moza mi sembra un po piu buona avendo la LCD per cambiare tutto
The Moza Air 2 destroyed it. Wow.
what do you use for your music? i saw artlist in one video, and epidemic in this one?
And Music bed in a third one with some Soundstripe music too. Now you have it all😉
Will Moza air 2 work on a Canon 200D and Sony A7 iii?
After upgrading the firmware i don't have the permission to access i-focus turn on.what is the solution?
Does the moza control any function on the bmp4k?
We have not tested it yet😉
@@MAUROSFILMS please do as soon as you can. Thank you
Which one should you buy? Simple... both!
Can Ronin S do infinity roll with bmpcc4k
Great content Mauro. However does moza has that 360 rotation option and does it have the vertical upsite down option for filming thats ronin s has?
Thanks a lot. Yes the Moza Air 2 have the vertigo rotation 360 degrees like the Ronin-S 😉 You can also put the roll axis rotation on the focus wheel😉
The Ronin S looked smoother in the footage ... maybe the heavier weight helped that
The Ronin also has 2 power out options
Maybe...they are actually both great for the simple stabilization thing...
because they used a7iii on the ronin which has a IBIS and bmpcc on the Moza air which doesn't has an IBIS probably this is why.
is moza air 2 compatible with fujifilm xt3...?
Ciao bella recensione, ma hai un canale youtube o una playlist dove parli anche in Italiano? Sarei molto curioso di poter capire tutto quello che spieghi! Ciao
Dude what a cool place to shoot!
Thanks
Hi - which is the easiest to balance.
Hi..they are almost identical in 3 axis design. You will need the same amout of skills and time for both.
@@MAUROSFILMS thanks - I'd heard one of them had locking on the axis that made it easier.
@@markshirley01 Yes..the Moza Air 2 on the Roll Axis
Will this work well on Fujifilm's camera xt3
Yes..sure
Ronin S is not compatible with FujiFilm cameras
@@matejpirnat6743 I didn't think of any online cable connection. Just pure stabilisation😉
which one to buy ronin s or moza air 2
The one that will be more suitable for your use...
Film Savory Pictures ronin for portability where the weebill comes in the picture...
Im glad i watched your video, I was thinking my moza had something wrong with it but i notice your footage also exhibits some wobble so its a moza issue, never experienced this on the original one. Im now going to try the ronin s, thanks for this.
I'm liking the Ronin S so far. Find it has a bit of vertical bounce but still liking it. Great video! Look forward to seeing more!
Thanks a lot. Stay Tuned
Not really fair to talk about vertical bounce, that is down the operator.
IMPORTANT QUESTION. Did you do ANY post Stabilization.
No post stabilization made in any way on the test shots. In the beginning of the feature video i added some Warp of 5 %
@@MAUROSFILMS
Thanx, That's what we wanted to know because some of the shots were just to smooth, As smooth as a SteadyCam.
@@darrylsmith3102 ;-)
love this video. very technical and straight to the point. On video, you were kinda biased towards the ronin s lol, although you finally grudgingly picked the moza air. The comments helped put things in perspective for me. Thank you! + 1 subscriber...
Glad that you liked it😉
