old skool at its best ..i remember when that was out ... used to have a shop near me called purple haze which has since been gone for about 9 years lol ...i have lots of spawn figures at my mums just need to dig through em all see which ones i have actually got ... only started gettin back into collecting them again ...which was a bit of a wrong move cuz they so damned expensive lol ... i love the collections u have on here tho :) have a good one ....peace out

You should have hit me up for the costumes lol. You are pretty hot in that sweater though. ;) Love the figures as well, great review! I hate keeping them in boxes as they were meant to be opened and posed to be full enjoyed. Plus takes up way too much room in boxes and makes your house look like a horror hoarder lol.

@irani443 I'm sure I'll love it, just like any of Rob Zombie's other Films. He's very much into the dark and gritty side of cinema. He actually owned a home in the same town we came from in Connecticut. I really loved his 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects as well. He's very much influenced by the films I am most fond of dating back to the Universal Silver Screen films of the 20's-40's. I'm not Familiar with Rick Rosenthal. If he directed any of Rob's other films than yes, I approve.

What a great video tribute to the best slashers of all time. I have both figures and they are two of my prized items.
Yeah, but I meant that they should have done that to pay tribute to the scene in 'F.V.J." where Freddy taunts a Young Jason by holding up his mother's severed head, while saying: "Now there's a face...ONLY A MOTHER COULD LOVE!!!", LOL!!!

@GwenSDiddy I feel you bro! I don't get why manufacturers have left Horror hanging. There's so much love/fanbase for horror films. I'm not a real Superheroe/comic book fan, it's OK, but it's all secondary to Sci-Fi/Horror in my opinion. Hollywood is all about family films now nowadays and everything has dry comedy in it. Somebody's always droppin dumb-ass punchlines no matter the genre, which is also why modern films are bland + forgotten within a year. 70's-80's films = untouchable

@irani443 Oh yeah, I forgot about the F13th remake, wasn't too crazy about that one either. The Zombie Halloween's we're really good though. I'm so glad I grew up in the 70's and 80's, I truly think the best stuff was around back then plus being young at the time made everything more believable. Kids nowadays are getting shafted with the modern cartoons and especially movies. Even Disney nowadays is like the same film about animals over and over with the same cliche Hollywood voice overs. Yeah persistence, the best I've got is the Silver Screen Creature From The Black Lagoon signed by the Sculptor, which is one of my favorite figures of all time, Oh yeah and a Spawn figure by mcfarlane, which is ehh.

@irani443 Yes great figures they are and I can understand dissapointment over the film, however "Hate" is a very harsh word which I try to avoid using. This is a different world from the 1980's days of a great slasher film, nowadays so called slasher films have to compete with teen comedy horror films such as "Scream" and so on. It does suck that everything we get now has to involve comedy which is why I continue to seek out and collect Horror films from the past. It is what it is :(

@irani443 True, that one sucked as well, and so did Jason-X, but There has pretty much always been a comedic undertone to the Nightmare on Elm Street films from part 2 on. Even the Halloween films got really bad especially with the Buster-Rhymes crap. It's unfortunate but true Horror films are extremely far and few between. I feel the same way about most of the super hero films. Too many punchlines and comic relief. This is pretty much standard with american films nowadays.

I have to disagree. being and old horror movie fanatic and seeing all the origional movies in the theater, Rob Zombie's remake of halloween was good. Better than I expected. But Halloween 2 was just terrible. I'd say it is up there with H: Ressurection. Just crap. But thats just me and I own a lot of crap movies on dvd and bluray (even all the uwe bol movies).Yikes! hahahaha
Jason isn't ugly. well, to me he isn't. I can see why he's ugly to other people but he's just a kid with troubles who kills teenagers to get revenge on them killing his mother and having sex in his territory.
