    This is nothing to kid around with. If they are unable to remove all of the tumor or if the cancer is advanced, they have to remove your whole bladder. I lost my bladder in 2013. I now pee in a bag outside of my body. It saved my life. I have been cancer free now for three and half years. The good thing about it. I hook up to a night bag at night and don't have to get up at night now to go to the bathroom. :o

      I don't know if you know the history of this type of cancer or not. The type I had they say that it has a 85% chance of coming back within 5 years. Ether in the lungs or bones. I am three and half years now cancer free. I have taken CT scans and Bone scans every six months. I again take one in Aug. of this year. They said if it comes out clear that they will not see me for one year. So far it has been great news. There is a group on facebook for people with that has had their bladder removed. Here it is a closed group so posts do not show up outside of the group. It is a very good group to belong to. You can ask questions for any problems that come about. facebook.com/groups/406696311012/

      @@IndyRacer57 I thought the tumor comes back in the bladder and not in the lung or liver

    I had this done after a while I had BCG treatments which killed the cancer.

      My father also... BCG and not radical cystectomy. But after 1 year it was diagnosed a metastatic cancer spread on toracic nodes. I don't want to alarm you buddy, but do your clinical exams. The bladder cancer is very aggressive and have a great % to coming back...

      @Seema Kumari BCG is a bacteria that is instilled into the bladder through a catheter. It creates an immune response to kill the cancer cells and prevent recurrences. I'm a urology nurse and I give them every week.

    What happens to the tumor that is floating around? Are they able to get it completely?

    • @noemig7504
      @noemig7504 Рік тому +2

      Yes ! It will be flushed out !!! what they are using is a Cysto scope and going into the bladder and burning all that tumor out and to do that constantly without perforating the bladder saline will be constantly flushed through the cystoscope and at the end the camera of the cystoscope will be taken out and all the saline and tumor will flush out of the urethra
