If you do this glitch but want the money to carry over to a post patch save, dont sell the car. Instead you're going to exit out of the game, sign into a different progile that can download the update, then re sign into the profile that has the save and then sell the car.
I can confirm at least thrice that this glitch still works as of 24th December 2023. Important observations: 1) The credits reset to 20mil post update. You still get to keep your cars and level progression though. For this test, I sold both Scions before the update just to be safe. 2) In another attempt, I kept the fake-upgraded Scion and updated the game. I then sold it and then got the entire amount. Buying stuff did nothing. I also kept the first Scion. 3) Continuing from point 2, I did some races and had no issue. I even restarted the game and still had the infinite creds. Still had the original Scion though. 4) I sold the OG Scion and restarted again. Again, no loss of creds. 5) I cannot say anything about multiplayer though; dont have an online subscription at the time of this writing.
I was skeptical too, but finally got it to work after a few tries of creating/deleting FM2 saved games. I never cleared my cache, and that's what I was missing. Gotta say, just looking at my tv and seeing 999,999,999 CR is pretty f***ing cool.
*Update* this even works on a savegame you already have. No need to make a new one 😂 just get in the scion and do the „buy everything thing“ sell it and poof 999.999.999cr thanks man

Well the shitty about using this glitch is you can't have any DLC on your Forza Motorsport 2 profile. I've tried every way I can think to have both the Infinite Credits and the DLC at the same time, and the game won't allow. Because once you clear the cache, it erases ALL previously saved stuff, including DLC. I have my DLC saved on a flash drive and that's how I re-added it to the game. But like I said, no matter what I tried, there's no way to have both the Infinte Credits and the DLC in the same profile. Really pisses me off. By chance if I'm doing something wrong or am missing something and it DOES work, someone please let me know.
I am confirming to you that it works on xenia, I went through all the menus and did as you did, except the tires, now i got unlimited credits. Thank you so much, Tommy. It also works on project forza plus for fm2, just have a new save game ready to go.

Ooo. Good question. I think likely it would, pending the emulated version doesn't have the updates. 'Course you could always just give it a try anyway, backing up your save(s) prior. Edit: Although, with an emulator, as another option, you may be able to use something like CheatEngine to edit your Cr.
