With the release of the Remake, I and many, many others found ourselves transported right back to our collective younger selves as soon as this theme hit as we (the players) came to in the old dilapidated church...and saw her. Your rendition was incredibly moving, one of my favorites that I've heard over these last 23 years.. Thank you for this gift!
I am 13 now and am playing the remake and the original right now. This game holds a very special place in my heart. The characters all have this connection that I love. They all feel like family even though they dont even exist. It is truely like magic! I wish that I could have had that nostalgic feeling when the remake came out, but considering Im only 13, I had just figured out it had even existed. But now that I know what it is, it has truely changed my life, and I thank SquareEnix for that.
• Nobody • well i am 28 but I have never played the original. Glad I played the demo and loved it immediately and hence bought the full game. Game of the decade for me.
I almost never bothered with the remake.. even tho ff7 is my favorite game ever... Since 97... I was 8 years old when I remember my heart being broken.... By 10 I was able to level all my characters to 99 hoping I could somehow be strong enough to save her... Nope..... I know it's a game but Holy! 😅 The amount of sadness this song brings
This song will always have a place in my heart. My gf died a month before i played ff7 for the first time. Aerith reminded me of her and when she was killed i lost it. I finaly got around to finishing the game. But this song sticks with me always. Great job on this

Ive heard this song covered many times over the years, and yours, by far, is the best.
Its not your mastery in hitting the correct notes, which is there, but more so (and more importantly imho), when Not to hit them. Letting the notes sing to full length and giving proper pause.
Your mastery of timing is superb. Bravo.

This is absolutely gorgeous.. final Fantasy, especially VII, has ways held a place in my heart [if you couldn't tell by my handle..].. and I have ALWAYS loved harps.. They have such a soothing, mystical, and just gorgeous ambience to them.

NASA should install a small music box on a space probe before send it outward the solar system. One moment in time, when one intelligent enough creatures found the debris and open the box with curious, they will realize how civilize we are. The name of this theme may be changed, from "Aerith's theme" to "Earth's theme" which means the song of Gaia, one important concept in Final fantasy.

This song is my favorite however over the years it is a sad reminder of how much trauma I suffered in the past as far as losing people that I loved dearly.every time I hear the very beginning of this song,i see flashbacks of when I lost people dear to me. I lost two people the last six months this year. One was my fault,the other was a victim of a hit and run just a week ago. The music is lovely though.
