Indoor cats generally live from 12-18 years of age. Many may live to be in their early 20s. The oldest reported cat lived to be an amazing 28 years old, whereas outdoor cats live an average of just two to five years. .
My cat, Lucy is VERY hyper and my mom doesnt like buying toys alot so this was such a good way for me and my family to help out on this! Lucy plays like a pro. We added treats to spit out. THANKS!
Thank you for your energy and time!.....some cats will try to rip these up, so keep in mind possible toxicity of glues....ecologically, may be best to skip the glue part.....being so sensitive to odors, they will detect even the milder odor of the white (like "Elmer's") glue.
i make this out of small boxes (nescafe coffee pod box is what i use, but any smaller square box is good), i cut out 3-4 holes only on the sides, not bottom and top from where they can fall out easily, then i put small cooked chicken pieces inside so my cat would be really motivated to get them (she's not into treats or dry food that much, so that's another tip for people whose cats are like mine), she spends good 30+ mins pushing the box around and pushing her paws inside the box, which moves around the wood floor.
Person: duke do you want the ball? Duke the dog: but you made me fly at a bunch of cups yesterday. Person:no look, *drops ball inside of cat toy. Duke: GIMME THAT BALL IN THERE!!
Wow, this is great! Quick and easy enough that I may just do it, and that's saying something. I like the brown paper, nice texture for kitty paws. Great video, nicely presented.
I'd say make one hole big enough for what's inside can come out once in a while, because if the cat never can catch what he's hunting it can be upseting to him. (alternative: let him play with it only for a moment and then switch to a game where he can actualy catch something).
Good video! I am going to try to make something similar for my cats, but I'm not sure what the purpose is of gluing paper around the can, the cat doesn't care what it looks like 🤷
Nice ! I bought one of those treat/toy cat interaction boxes for $17. My cat won't even try to get his treats out of it. (Which is mainly why I wanted it. So he'd have to put a little more effort into eating, plus get a little more exercise) I'm going to keep trying, but so far it's been a sad disappointment. 😏🙂
+kawaiizofficiel the best glue to use is white glue, it does not smell and it does not create layers they can chew on. But yes, leave it around somewhere. Cats play on their own rules :)
This is great if you all this stuff laying any y the house. I don't and if I need buy Pringles, paper, glue, and a box cutter, it'll be cheaper buying a toy that's sturdy, has different challenges and is dish washer safe.
I accidentally removed a comment for someone who just asked me how old is my cat in this video. So sorry. Pincel is the oldest, he's 12.
It's okay! Cats die in 20 :) Pincel is CUTE

I'm very happy to hear that +pink unicorns Lover . Would love to see her, you should make a video :)
Faster: cut holes in a paper towel roll, insert treats, and fold the edges in. No box cutter or glue required!
excellent idea :) +Pie A La Mode
Except if you do that, the roll will probably not roll...
@@bycasas nah it still does

Cat Lessons I want a cat but my mom and dad are unsure of it
Pets are a big responsibility. We have to be sure we can provide them a good healthy living, so make sure you all reflect on that :)
PS. Thanks for a great idea ! I hadn't thought of using old containers in the house. 👍😉

that's a really cool idea ! but is it really mandatory to wrap it up ?
+Swaroopa S It's more of a aesthetic option, you don't really need to wrap it :)

Yeah! I made one for my cat Gordon... But Gordon doesn't play with it! I think it smell to strong glue !! I'll wait a few days.

Wait....will my flip flop work to put inside??
Why would you use a flip flop??
I am going to make one and it won't get lost under the refrigerator! !
Yes, this one will definitely not go under there! :))))) +Sandra McMillan
O my God! Little balls under refrigerator! I've got so many under mine, that I think my refrigerator gonna ride someday!
Omg siepre eh tenido gatos y ahora tengo 10 ajajajajajaja eejejejej

I have tree cats
Cool! We have 3 cats in the Cat Lessons house too :) +Viki Obedova
good idea, but my tuddy never wants to play with normal cat toys....😞😞. I've tried everything believe me...😐😐
+Keren Chadwick my cats are quite resistant too. The trick is to keep playing with them, even if it's just with a sock ball :)
3 hours spent making this. Cat's span of interest in playing with it was not quite 2 minures. Verdict: dumbass idea.
