i watched the whole video esp very carefully abouf the part where you talk about ultrasonic activators not being effective for the apical third, but i seemed to have missed how you tackle that problem. how do you get the irrigant flow up to the apical third in these curved cases? is it with hand files and pumping action?

Hi Dr.,
When you first open up the tooth you would do an initial cleaning (for example when a canal is calcified or you shape 2/3 of the canal) without knowing the working length. How do you know whether or not you are shaping beyond or short of the working length if you didn’t have working length yet? At what point do you decide to take working length after initial instrumentation?

I didn’t realize until you said this but you don’t have a cbct? What are you doing if you can’t find MB2 or another canal?

Dr... EDTA gel as lubricant while shaping the canals is better or only hypo in canals during shaping..... because some practitioners say that if hypo is used the file may get corroded, without magnification we cant see it and may risk of fracture.TIA

edta gel is good only for hand files, with rotary files it increases the probability of fracture of the instrument by clogging the blades
