Hi Danno! The Kirkland roast been (canned) is amazing! I use the broth that's in the can to make a gravy and mix roast beef back in...put that over toasted Texas toast with mashed potatoes and bam ..an amazing filling dinner!! My sister is a widow and this is perfect size for her to have a home cooked meal. The roast beef and Kirkland chicken is always a staple in my cart at Costco! Thanks for video!!
Just so you're aware Kirkland brand is a Costco brand, but the stuff isn't made or produced by Kirkland, they just put their name on the packaging. The stuff is produced by other companies at a discount for Kirkland. Case in point some of their coffee is made by Starbucks, and some of their kcups are made by Green mountain. Their tuna is by bumble bee.
I had so much fun shopping Costco thru your eyes. I appreciate you noting the organic. The only way I am able to remain organic is shopping at Costco and Walmart for fresh and frozen items. I smiled through your entire video. And you forgetting to wrap up showed how much fun you had!
Hi Danno, I think you got so excited about the Almond Florentine16ct cookies with chocolate drizzle that you forgot to show/tell the price😂 Absolutely ❤ shopping @ Costco! Thanks for taking us along 😊
Danno absolutely agree with you. Costco bakery is easily better than Sam's Club. My Sam's Club had the flavor bomb tomatoes when I went last week. (Middle Tennessee)
I dont have a Costco membership, but I went with someone one time who does, and bought the stuffed green peppers from the deli, and man they are delicious with just a few toppings added to them. Seeing your video today has me thinking about buying a membership 😊 It would be about a half hour drive for me to the nearest store, but I'm starting to think it might be worth it. Have a Great Day All!
@@JaimeRene17 we have the rebate membership so we do 85% of all our shopping there, plus we take our daughter there. What she buys with what we buy always pays for the extra cost of membership if not close to whole thing.
If you bake your own desserts, Costco always has its (real!) vanilla extract at a price that can't be beat; it's been $11.99 for a 16-oz bottle for a while now (that's about 75 cents an ounce). The prices for the Kirkland peanut butter and almond butter have gone down in recent months, by a dollar. Lastly, the Kirkland balsamic vinegar is a great price, at $11.99 for a one-liter bottle, great for making salad dressing and other sauces/flavoring.
I am pretty sure all chicken is bleached per fda guidelines regardless of being organic or not. I'm not sure about hala meat. We buy hala meat it is the closest to raising your own without doing so

Good Wednesday Morning Everyone in the room..... It's a Chilly Wisconsin Morning Again! Ughhhh What does Everyone recommend getting, A Costco Membership or a Sam's Club Membership?? I've Never been to either one but I'm thinking about joining one of them ...
Yes, it is a chilly morning in Wi. i prefer the Sam's. best feature is the scan n go, no waiting at the registers. I scan the items as i put them in my cart and we can leave whenever our bodies give out, we spent enough or it gets too busy. that rarely bothers us now seeing we learned to go early before the free samples come out when the families show up to get their free meals. as long as i am moving i am fine but my bad back cannot stand still in a line, like at a register. now when my dad was around, he prefer costco for their bakery. he thought their bakery was better. he volunteered alot to do the coffee hour at church so he always went there for that. i am not into bakery items. my dad needed his sweets after each meal not me, if i was still hungry i was the one grabbing the leftover meat. not sure on your family size but you just need to remember most items are brought in bulk and you need the room to store it. might get sticker shock at first when you check out but you need to remember it goes farther. i go every other month usually but last month i didn't really needed any meat so we just had them do a free delivery to us with some goodies and can products like veggies. even though we are like 35 minutes away and it is just the 2 of us we think we are doing pretty good shopping there. instead of going out and grabbing burger and fries at lunch time we buy the 10 pound roll of hamburger and the big bag of fries (8 pounds for something like $8.98) and have half pound burgers and fries at home quite often for lunch at a saving.
I just checked if there was discount memberships now. Sams club has a 14 dollar deal for new members. Looks like it ends April 30. I think you would save that 14 dollars easily. The nearest Costco is about 2 hours away for us, so haven't been in one. For 14 $, I don't think you would be disappointed in a one year sams.
@@37degreesnorth76 yes when we came back we went thru a similar deal. i was a member since a kid thru my parents business and just continued on with my business but when i shut down to the public i decided to let my membership lapse. gone maybe 10- 14 years? but saw an ad for getting in at around $18 plus they gave you an additional $35 in sam's cash and told the wife why not? if we don't like it we won't renew but at least we were going to be $17 ahead in free groceries. well we stayed and actually went back to being premiere membership or whatever they call it now and make back more than what we spend on the membership fees. we are here to stay well at least for now.
Does Costco allow you to order online and have items shipped or the pick-up options like Sam's Club? Some of us live too far away to make the trip and Sam's Club makes it easy by shipping so many of their products.
