If a game needs 6 or 12 hours to start feeling good which is what alot of folks are saying about Starfield than it's probably not worth investing a whole lotta time & effort into it. Especially when you got so many far superior games already out that don't require you to have to grind thru the first 6 to 12 hours to finally feel like you're having fun. Baldur's Gate 3, Armored Core 6, Final Fantasy XVI, Sea of Stars, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom, Octopath Traveler 2 & Resident Evil 4 Remake are all infinitely way more fun & compelling from start to finish right outta the gate than Starfield is. Heck even the likes of No Man's Sky & Cyberpunk 2077 which both infamously started out disappointing are now way more content rich & interesting than Starfield.
Games that portray the future makes me wonder, "is this where we are headed irl?". We can make inroads and grow without costing our earth. We can make earth the king of all planets and explore space instead of destroying earth or every next planet we land on and always be on run.
Unlikely we will destroy earth; population decline is imminent due to low birth rates. We'll be a 1-2 Billion species by 2100. We'll have to invent an entirely new economic system, since the current one relies on labor supply. As times before it, we will continue to perfect our environmental cost. You wouldn't have wanted to live in the 1890s; the sky was black with smoke from factories.
So Earth looks abandoned, okay makes sense given the information we have seen. But the stuff on Luna looked pretty much brand new. Doest really make much sense. As far as I remember, the whole Sol system was left behind.
Am I the only one who finds the gameplay boring, especially the combat system? The eneimies' AI seem to be abysmally bad and that makes the combat like a chore to play through?

But what was good 8 years ago seems so obsolete and bland today... And that's a shame because the game took so long to be released and i had such huge expectations for it.

The Main Character needs a voice even after you click on a choice. It’s hard to stay into the game and story without it. Just Sucks!!! Been an Epic game if it just had a voice. The game makers messed up bad on that part.

Bethesda seems too busy making an equity cast of boring characters, rather than working on their personalities and story line. I don't care what people look like, just focus on making a good story. Games will continue to go down the toilet as long as woke idiots are writing the scripts.
