I think it's ok to hold hands in a lot of situations, but even I don't do it when I attend serious event. Or official. Funerals are emocional. In their case, they attend a lot of different arrangements. In some, like meeting with people it's nice to see that. But in some, more official, I think it's better to be serious.
We are not robots. All of us are different. If you're a stone who doesn't need anyone to touch you when you have lost a loved one, not everyone else is like that. They were NOT the only couple holding hands during the precession. Princess Anne’s daughter Zara held her husband’s hand during the precession as well.
Harry and Meghan were in the official conduct with the royals. This conduct is not a walk, but a march in spacing. Zara and Mike were in the „walking” section, not in the official first mourners with the current king and are also „commoners”, not HRH of the royal household. Just family members. There was no official „state” wedding for Zara and Mike, because they are not of that HRH function.

I am sad that Meghan had to deal with a lot of perfect people’s opinion every time she goes out. And I just love how Harry holds her hand to tell her “I GOT YOU”.
Stop it, if Harry has a problem with it, he could tell her before a public outing not to do it. If Harry marry Meghan and has two kids with her, obviously royal protocol didn't attract Harry. Obviously, he wanted a woman that was affectionate and loved him, and did not worry about what public opinion or his family thought about PDA. Amazing that people are upset with Meghan but not Harry. I would never understand English culture, royal couples live in separate houses, and PDA is frowned upon, even if a spouse needs comforting. No wonder Harry traveled to a different continent to find a wife.

@@khongelanishiluvana3467 nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors but really, what reason would she have to not be secure in her relationship with William? Please tell.
I can understand why they would want to hold hands especially during times of grief. What I don’t understand is why they couldn’t wait until they left services. When roles in times of grief if they hold hands or do a death claw makes them look weak and needy. The rest of the monarchy is reeling at loss of Queen. By RF looking strong helps their people hold it together and move on as well. So the week of private morning gives the royals time to cry and grieve in private. I think they all mostly did a fantastic job of controlling their emotions. God rest the Queen, long live your King.

Holding hands out on shopping is different to acting like couple of teenagers. Would you hold your spouse’s hand in office where you two work every time you are on the move? They are on royal duties in a professional setting, in this case in the middle of funeral.
My husband and I have been married for 20+ years. We hold hands all the time. When we go on walks, weddings and funerals, at the movies, even when we fall asleep. It just comes natural. We don't think much about it. Neither of us is "needy". I like both couples.

It's she who holds his hand... grasps his forearm, digs her nails into the back tender area of his upper arm. It's her possessive signal to everyone that he is hers because she sought him out and married him to use his "celebrity status" TO PROMOTE HERSELF. This has been going on since they met. Has nothing to do with affection or confidence boosting. Has everything to do with OPTICS and marking her territory like a dog does to a fire hydrant.
R u kidding it wasn’t hard on the Harkles they blew the Royal family off!! She is steering him, controlling him AND she is very insecure, all about control!!!
Henrica Martin, you have not followed the royal family in recent years, I am assuming, because if you have been, you would know why she doesn't deserve a pass of any kind. She spent her 18 months as a senior working royal deliberately breaking protocol. She was given a staff of 14 aides to help her adjust to royal life and meld into the institution that she made a choice to marry into. She was offered a choice of a life outside of working for the monarchy if she wanted to continue her acting career, but she turned that down because she wanted her duchess title. She never showed respect for The Queen once she got that ring. Royal protocol for those with titles are not supposed to hold hands or show any PDA while on working engagements for the crown. It looks rather ridiculous to see a middle-aged couple supposedly working, walking into the UN holding hands. They held hands at every engagement they attended together as working royals and The Queen, was rightfully not happy about it. So, they couldn't just show some respect to Her Majesty now that she is gone, for a few minutes more until they were outside of that church, but nope! They need to stick out and draw attention to themselves.
K so what’s the excuse every other minute she’s clinging onto him ? ? Like the UN, when he didn’t wanna hold her hand so he let go and NOT. EVEN. 2 seconds later she grabbed his WHOLE ARM and held onto it with both hands.
there is a difference between a normal person like yourself that is not a royal who is just a normal person and one who is a royal no PDA in public it is protocol. especially at a serious event, me and my boyfriend don't hold hands a lot especially at funerals and at serious places and we do not do a lot of PDA most of the time in public, half the time we do it at home.

Princess Diana had an interview sharing her life in the hands of the royals. She died tragically because paparazzis hounded her like crazy. When your wife tells you she needs help from mental crisis and suicidal ideation, you get that help. And yet, when I read comments blaming Meghan for destroying the British family, I saw how a young Harry wanting to have helped his mother. The similarities between her mental health crisis and asking for support and help is eerily similar to Diana. Meghan and Harry have made this 10 days of mourning a complete travesty! It's all about this vile hypocritical couple. They have sworn to destroy the Royal Family and the Crown. The King should b a night them forever and ever after the Queen's funeral.

Harry and Meghan do it ALL the time. It's just momentary for the other couples.
@@rielemi5862 now i.know you are crazy
@@rielemi5862 and that's supposed to mean anything? Couples hold hands all the time. Its for comfort, support, and a way of standing united together against people that are against them. I couldn't imagine going through my grandma's and fathers funeral without the comfort of my husband. Imagine going to a funeral where you feel so far out of place and the only real support you feel you can get is from your spouse. If thats taken away whats left. Regardless of their walks of life. They are only human, not super heroes.
Yes but none of those people are half black so it is all perfectly ok
@@rielemi5862 Jealousy is a mental illness. You should take some medication for that.
She controlling Harry by holding hands
The article, as recommended above, is written entirely in Markle's favor, by mentioning Markle's alleged achievements, talents, and relationships and eliciting sympathy for her according to the changes in her life, which after all, she chose for herself. There is no mention of the Markle we've come to know. She has faults, many faults, which aren't even touched upon in the article.
I didn't realize this was put out by The List until I read your comment. They seem to *love* her, unlike most other businesses and people. God knows why!
They have to support each other through all the s***t they face from the RF and especially the tabloids. It's really good to see.
She's a controlling narcissist that's why she always has to control him and disrespect protocol
She Loves to Hold Hands to Show People that Shies' Part of the Royal Family....
They do it 24/7, it isn’t new, it’s just total disregard for protocol
