Played Cs 1.6 since 2005 till early 2011 and that's it 😅 Never played CS:S nor CS:GO back then.. wasn't convinced of their release 🤷🏻♂️😂 Gosh the maps are soo different than it used to be, I've played CS:GO Inferno last week for the first time, man was it different 😅 The apartments changed drastically! @@Dj4DemPlayaz Ikr? It was more of an aim focused game rather than tactics, It's so much more tactical nowadays, and the way you throw the bombs wut da heck 🤦🏻♂️. Don't get me wrong I love it! But learning it isn't as easy as before, you have to memorize lots and lots of stuff now. I'm just getting old.. am I? 🥲😂😂
Nawaf, you should check out CS2, I thinks its free and might come on wendsday. I haven't tried it yet, but I also played CS 1.6 and never touched Source or GO, I thought it might be fun to test CS again after so many years.

Counter Strike has been built generation upon generation, and thanks to the early players like you, other people have gotten to play this much deeper and polished game. However, I don’t think the game is not aim-based anymore, but rather just pure aim will not take you as far anymore, because all though there are a lot of people out there with great aim, possibly comparable to the best pro players out there, what tells them apart is their ability to execute the best strategies, which have been developed over so many years! I was only 2 years old when you started playing Counter Strike, and I hope this game only continues to get better even before, maybe one day I will also look back into the game and be very confused 😅
Wow, surprisingly helpful. I was tempted by the new release of CS2 to start playing again. This is after being away for counter-strike for 20 years. I found myself getting lost on maps I thought I should know. Turns out, I know the 1.1 layouts super well and seeing what equates to what in 1.1 to CS2 really helps me organize it all in my brain and cement the new map layout.
This video doesn't show it, but I remember there being a ladder to a small roof over the alley where Ts can go to banana or awp mid at the bottom of the mid in either 1.6, Cz or CSS. Was that true or am I mixing this up with a different map?

Crazy how we went from 1.6 GOAT to source which was pretty bad, then GO which also bad but better than source, then somehow they replace counterstrike with Valorant 2...Kinda depressing honestly.

Of course it was there. Right next to the entrance to banana ( from T side ) there was a leader leading to a small balcony area.
