In Portugal, amateur fishermen can't fish with traps, but sometimes lobsters are caught on the hook, it happens. There is a closed season during the year when lobster fishing is not allowed.

@@albertorossi4226 Long line only for professionals, amateur fishermen can only fish with a hook. Each species of fish has a maximum amount that can be caught.
