Interesting test I have long thought that when I have the choice between more expensive and cheaper you need to compare carefully which is best for your needs. The boat hull in both is superb, so it's the engine and the sea and wind conditions. I think it's up to you, your wallet and your choice of boat and what facilities you want. Good review hope you do some more of this type of review.
Great, comprehensive review Hugo, thank you. Plenty of options to spec it to suit your needs and desires. I think the V8 would be my choice given it’s extra torque and similar fuel efficiency for marginal extra purchase cost.
You have to consider the payload. On a 7.5m Zodiac used it with V6 225 , Verado L6 250 L350 V8 300 and Yamaha 300. The V6 225 is a bad choice. sure 37 kts is enough (45 with 250 around 50 kts with 300 and 350). the second you take family & friends onboard it''s painful how slow you become.
I’d say the Axopar is the best to drive, the Nimbus is the best built and the Saxdor is the best all-rounder/value for money but none of them are bad options.
How does it handle any kind of rough seas? I don't see any videos demonstrating this boat running in anything other than a little chop. What about 3-5ft? I'm sure it will struggle a bit but how much better or worse compared to a regular V-Hull?
Finally, I very rarely see reviews like this. Do more of them! Great video
Thank you Tillo

Great video! Needs individual helm seats (as shown) with a bench behind it combination option, to fit more people!
For some weird reason you cant have the wet bar if you chose the bench.
would be interesting to see the 200cv X2 option
Great review! How does the Saxdor 270 compare to the Nimbus T8? and the Axopar 28?

How does the twin 200 engine compare (which costs the same as single 300)?
Better with twins.......if one goes down
