- I headed to Hyco Lake today and found the crappie in 8'to 12' of water . Water temps were 82 degrees . I fished some deep water and did not catch fish . The fish that were shallow were biting . I also found some good fish holding around some docks .
Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." The Good News: Put all of your faith and trust in the Lord and he will guide you down the right path in life, even in the most confusing of times

Great clip bud. From the color the water looks from here I would have never tryd a Tennessee Shad color... when you think you have it figured out... lol thanks
Awesome video thanks for sharing your tips with us keep them coming
Thanks, will do!
New subscriber, been watching for awhile. Thanks for uploading the videos! Question and suggestion: Do a video finding crappie on an unfamiliar area without using LiveScope. Not everyone has the funds to buy a Livescope instrument nor do some folks care to use one. I'm in both boats...do not have the money for one and actually dont want one. Seems to be more like playing a video game...sit and watch a screen and watch fish hit the bait instead of using outdoor skills and reading water, etc, etc. Show us low-tech fishermen how you locate and fish crappie in warm months without the livescope. 2D sonar is ok, I use it to find brushpiles and such but thats it. Thanks in advance! Keep the good vids coming!
Any video I made back before August of 2020 ,I did not have of my new upgraded electronics, be sure to check those out . 2D sonar is a great way to locate brush ,sometimes I can see the brush better with it than down imaging.I'll be fishing some docks in the next few weeks so stay tuned . Tight lines !!!
Love the channel. I’m passionate about crappie fishing these days and particularly jiggin deep water structure of any kind. Thank ya sir
Love those crappies!!
Love them nice slab crappie
Great video my friend
Thank you 👍
Ain’t nothing wrong with a ACC CRAPPIE STIX!! Also, great video Sam and my question is this: Does the noise from the aerator in the live well seem to spook the Croppie any at all? Lol I’m from Kentucky and thanks Brother!! Be blessed in The Lord today!! Hallelujah!! Amen!!
The particular crappie on this brush were note spooky at all,But overall any noise the boat makes makes them spooky . I did notice if I left the brush for a little while and came back ,i could see more fish had moved back in on the brush .
@@wildlifeadventures-13 thank you for responding sir and this is a great channel and I am learning a lot!!
Thanks for some very good tips.
Hey Sam, will you please explain to us how stained water is good for us to catch crappie? Thank you Brother!! Be blessed in The Lord today!!
I will try and cover that in my next video
Another great video and great information. I usually catch crappie better when the pressure is on the way up ⤴️ and in about the first thirty minutes of falling ⬇️ pressure... It's been like that for 5 or 6 months now.
Great tip!
Great video Sam i enjoy have informative you are. Im really struggling to catch fish now. Im sure tge live scope is a game changer. Thanks for sharing Brother
Summer is tough . If your water is super clear switch to minnows and downsize your line . Thanks for the comment.

Hi, can you tell me the brand and model number of the jigging rods and casting rods you are using? And the brand and model number of the reel you are using? Also, what line strength and color of line are you using? Looking to get into this type of fishing. 😀
Thanks for the video I’ve learned a lot. Hey I really like your wildlife adventure ball cap how can I get one, any info I would really appreciate it.
I will soon have some hats and shirts for sale . Hat colors are hard to find right now due to shortages from covid .I am working on setting up a way to order them .
