I don't believe I have seen a finer C3 than your '69! I'll bet you get the "Corvette wave" everywhere you go in that beautiful car! I have always loved that generation; even when the changes started in '73 it remained a gorgeous generation! The plastic fantastic that followed didn't hit it's stride until '91 and through '96 it was a great Corvette. That clamshell good has stood the test of time and is it's greatest feature. Enough about that! I'll close with...I LOVE YOUR Corvette!

Is the tire/wheel setup taller than stock? Is the car (frame) lower to the ground or is this just adding taller rims essentially raising the ground clearance and lowering the body to the tires? Did you have to recalibrate your speedometer? How many inches does this setup lower the car? Thanks
The actual diameter is roughly the same as what was on it originally . It lowers it up to 2 inches.

what size are the wheels?? the fronts look larger than the rear??
also, the longer the bolts, the more of a chance it will gouge the tire,,..
They are 20x10 all the way around.

I dont get it, my rear ride height is lower on driver side than passenger yet both spring bolts are same lengths and adjusted the same....
Same here... I was going to tighten up the bolt on the driver's side to bring it up just a tad. My question is, do I want to take weight off the tire before i make the adjustment?

Yea they are 20x10 with 4.5 backspacing. 5x 4.75 bolt pattern.
Those wheels look great but they would be destroyed with two foot pot-holes around myplace!!!!!🤣🤣

As an owner of a 427/435 '69 Corvette since early 1970, I can't imagine why anyone would install wheels and tires like these. They look ridiculous but what's more important is the first time you hit a 4" deep pothole, you'll understand why it's so idiotic to do this to any car. My car came with Series 70 tires but has had BFG Radial T/A 60X15's for decades. I'm probably on my fourth set of tires and with 180k miles, I've yet to bend or destroy a rim. Having said that, I do live in the Bay Area where potholes are plentiful. Maybe where you live the roads are well maintained and smooth. Here, they are anything but!! It is your car and your choice but there is such a thing as "proportionality". The same way a man wouldn't wear an 8" wide tie with a nice suit is exactly why your tires and wheels look so stupid, junior. Just know that you will eventually hit a bump, railroad track, pothole or something and then you'll understand the foolishness of this fad. The wheel and tire companies love these and they are raking in the bucks repairing bent rims. The young kids will ooh and ah at your modifications while the adults will simply shake their heads. Smooth driving and be safe.
I'm 52 and think it looks great. Not to mention way improved handling. Why do think they put larger diameter wheels on everything now?

Those oversized clown shoe rims and rubber band tires COMPLETELY RUIN the look of that car. Just how incredibly stupid that car looks cannot be overstated. Oneof the most iconic cars in history completely destroyed aesthetically. Should just put 40s on it and make it a Super Donk and put it in a Fluff Diddy video. Smfh
Ugly. Wheels are way too big. Tires look like rubber bands. Why would you lower this car? I think you need a big gold chain around your neck and diamond grill. Lowrider brother ruined that Corvette.
