Burton is just as good but he's not as good at halfback. He's not a game manager, or at least he hasn't shown it. If Hynes gets rubbed out, 100% Keary is coming in - that's why they have him in the squad.
(By the way, I understand the sentiment, Burto is in great form and he's a good player. But he's a 6. Strong ball runner, good situational kicking - bombs, a big boot but not the best kicking game overall - decent playmaker, he'd perfectly slot into anywhere in the halves or centres as a replacement)
