@@ThePointsofArticulation I really love the realistic look of the Victory class Star Destroyer as it is one of my top 5 favorite Star Destroyers designs. It's a good thing I build a LEGO micro scaled version of this awesome Victory class Star Destroyer and gave it some more red colors to give in more detail. The only reason I want some Star Wars Armada ships is so I can play with them as actual toys rather than leave them on a shelf to collect dust, in my opinion.
I just purchased this set as a trial I guess for Armada, I should have gotten the core set but I can always get that another time, I can't wait to see it this friday!
I got it! It's fantastic, looks even better in person, just wow. I just now need to know if they are glued together or just snap together pieces because I want to install a blue light too the engines!
Victory 1 class Star Destroyer is of the best battleships in Star Wars, with a contingency of starfighters made up Tie advanced, Tie avengers & Tie defenders you can a good amount of damage,
Its a damn good ship I recommend it! Looks familiar to what we know but its just different enough to stand out. Hope we see one soon in a show or movie.
Oh no that sucks!! Lance try emailing Fantasy Flight games for a replacement. They are pretty good when my ships were damaged or missing pieces. Send pictures to them as well. Let me know what happens.
Hi Jediknight, thank you for watching. Armada only makes one size Victory class Star Destroyer. They sold is as its own expansion pack, and it also came with the Armada core set. I do not know why Walmart labels them like that.
@@ThePointsofArticulation Weird. I was gonna do a figure picture with Vader in the back kinda showing he's in power and control basically so, but the Imperial destroyer is kinda hard to find now x.x
Hey Dave I wanted to ask you something. I'm going to get some ships, but not many since I don't have much money, but I can't choose what, I'm with either this victory, or phoenix home from armada too, or 2 or 3 ships from the star wars miniatures, more specifically a Rebel Assault Frigate, consular Cruiser and Palpatines episode 3 shuttle. Which one would you recommend me? And also great video man, I saw it when you first uploaded it and I keep rewatching them añover and over again. The only issue with getting the victory is that some weeks ago I got the Chimaera haha and that might feel like a little copy. Thanks man!
Hey my friend hope all is well! Hmm yea the the victory might be a copy a bit, but its awesome. What are the other companies the 3 miniatures you want to buy from?
@@ThePointsofArticulation sorry for being late, it's quite the mess here in Ecuador because of coronavirus but I'm OK. The other ones are from wizards of the coast, from the line Star Wars Miniatures, the starship battles line
It is all good, glad your ok. The virus is hitting hard here as well. Those battles ships are kinda neat I have been looking at some from time to time. I say if money is an issue go for them if you have been collecting them.
The model? I believe it is a victory 2 but my knowledge of current expanded universe ship designs is weak. I know the old victorys has sorta wings on the sides in a c formation which would have been neat.
I love your review. If I may say, some current information says the earliest Victory class ships were coffins for their crews. I like to collect a lot of books about naval vessels, and really when you start reading that information you find out no two ships are exactly the same, especially with aircraft carriers. No two ships in a class are ever exactly alike so I think that would carry over in (reality) to even the Star Wars universe! It’s possible that those early ships had only two main drive engines. I still haven’t had the chance to start collecting these vehicles. My local Barnes & Noble stores had a decent selection of them, and I do miss the days when they were on the shelves in numbers.🪐
Chris comments are always welcome here. Thank you for the kind words. Yea I will have to do some more reading so much has come out about this vessel. Hopefully we can see it on screen soon.
Wow! Spectacular! I love the design on this one! Great review!!
This channel needs more credit and publicity than it gets
Thank you very much for the kind words Lance!! Yea I guess people will find me sooner or later hahah.
maybe i could try to promote more.

Look at that sexy triangle, gawd damn the Empire, they did know how to build them
Fantastic review Dave! I definitely want to get my hand on a Victory class destroyer some day.

Very good video I hope that we got more armada ship I will got mine next week
I am surprised they dident use ships like the dreadnaught class heavy cruiser or other ships in armada
I think sooner or later we will get them. I think the priority will be clone wars for a while, then we will see some newer ships.
@@ThePointsofArticulation Yeah I hope a Carrack class will come soon.
I love this ship but unfortunately mine didn't come with the antenna on top the bridge

Thanks for the help. They said they would send me a new antenna.
Awesome!!!
Is this like the miniature version piece? There's like 2 different ones at wal mart online, one saying miniature one regular size
