Ugh, that quote of Fives, all of them who lost their lives caught up in a war they didn’t know they couldn’t win, trapped in their own heads during Order 66, caught by the orders of the generals and commanders that both prospered and destroyed. The clones, the hero’s, the brave, For the Republic 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Fives was one of my favorites, watching his journey from a clone cadet from Domino squad turn into a brave, smart ARC trooper in the 501st was quite inspiring, him and Echo, it’s sad Fives died thinking that Echo died and wasn’t able to see him again alive and still fighting. But Fives’ courageousness, and determination to follow his gut and not Krell on Umbara showed his strength, him trying his best to figure out what happened to Tup, and succeeding, him, shot by a Coruscant guard, and dying in Rex’s arms had me in tears I will admit, and I’m rewatching the series (ofc) and I’m on season 5 episode 4 so I’m preparing myself for the moment in season 5, that Fives goes out without honor.
SW the clone wars showed me theres more to the troopers than just troopers who just shoot and die from orders they too were human beings. that deserter from season 2 really sheds light on the whole war and how troopers are more than just numbers and soldiers. troopers really deserve all the respect for what they do and truly deserve happiness and each their own lives
I come to these every so often. I truly have never been able to find a greater masterpiece of brotherhood than is found in Star Wars the Clone Wars. Thank you for making this masterful tribute worthy of the legacy of this series.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that we all have respect for an animated show that was originally meant for kids, but swiftly turned into something a grown man could cry at.
The Clone Army as a whole are the best written set of characters of the entire saga. The are a walking identity crisis just trying to do what they think is right as pawns in the game of a power hungry psychopath.
