The amount of outdoorsman knowledge we get from this man is kinda unreal. Big thanks man.

I really like to use a couple key rings for the pins at the end of the blade, install them and they won't fall out, ever. Possible other uses as well.

That is a great idea...using ax handles. I am one of your Self reliance outfitters customers and your store is where I buy most (not all) of my bushcfaft gear. I have been practicing bushcraft since I was about eleven years old so I rarely see any ideas or lessons that I am not already familiar with, but this idea of using ax handles was brilliant and new to me. Thanks for sharing.

Great job. A saw is much faster than hacking wood with an axe. When I was young my father laughed while I tried to cut a log with an axe then he handed me a bucksaw. There is no doubt a good saw is more efficient than an axe.

Really cool saw I like the center piece with the cut outs. I was able to learn how to make 1 of those off the landscape and finally got the notches right. So it works, Thankyou Dave.

Could the tension split the handles ? How about a figure 8 on each end. this would pull from the whole of the handles, not just half of the handles. Small improvement to an amazing idea. Great content as always.

Awesome! The more multi-function use something has the more efficient taking it with you becomes. Are there other tooth pattern blades available? Those folding saws that cut super fast (silky?) - would be nice to have a blade like that for a buck saw kit.
