Here most pick-ups have factory rear bumpers, But the lower equipment grades only has the "Euro bar" A bar below the bed that acts as the "correct" rear bumper due to bumper height restrictions set by the EU. It is actually fitted to this L200. The rear bumper fitted form the manufacturer is there only for esthetics. In many countries outside Europe, there are no demand for eiter a "euro bar" nor a bumper, so why pay extra for something you dont need? These vehicles are made for work. Looks and comfort often come as a second demand. That being said. In most of Europe and, i believe Australia, this equipment grade would have a rear bumper.
