I have what looks like an abnormally large bobcat and a regular bobcat hanging around my farm. I trap yotes but have never trapped cats. This video, out of all of the videos I've watched, was super helpful and packed full of knowledge sharing ideas. Thank you! Excellent work. 🙂

Enjoyed the video. Really liked the cost cutting ideas like the coffee filter and rebar stake driver. Oh and the fishing net dirt spreader was cool too.

I'm 65 years old and I grew up trapping in the days when fur prices were high and competition was fearsome I have trapped in different states around the south and the mountains swamps and the farms first in pursuit of fur then damage control beaver and coyote and bobcat livestock protection and I promise you the sets you made on your video will take just about any bobcat that comes by they are a few more things I would add to your arsenal like cat scratching post and rubs and nothing beats cat droppings for extra eye appeal and a good call lure with a percentage of skunk essence in it never hurts eather but you are well on the way to being a very deadly trapper always remember the words of E J Daily who best sums up trapping he said you have to leave a great temptation and remove all suspicion and I have always kept that in back of my mind God bless

A great video, thanks for posting and for encouraging others to trapping! It is great that you trap predators, it is very helpful! Do you also use bobcat skins any way? Thanks and have a great luck in hunting and trapping! Get some decent cats in the coming season, bud!

@@FullCircleOutdoors That´s nice. It must be a beautiful decoration of your house, bobcat fur is beautiful. You do a great job and other hunters must also be grateful to you for thinning the predator populations. Is it hard to find a use for smaller cats, or do you manage to sell all your pelts? Tight chains, mate!

I curious about what you do with the dead Bobcat? I assume you skin them but do you eat the rest? And what do you do if you find a female Bobcat that is pregnant? What about the babies? I hope you would let that Female Bobcat go & show some Mercy. This is like Mars to me. We have Bobcats where I live but they only eat rats, mice rabbits ect. So they are protected!!! But I would like to get some cubs but not from a killed Mother Bobcat. Thank you & I would appreciate it if you could answer a few of my questions, Sincerely Juliette

In the area i trap bobcats won’t have young with them during season and wouldn’t be pregnant. Most people skin the cats and tan the hide or get them mounted, not all but a good bit of people eat bobcats i’ve never tried one.If i get one this year i plan on trying it tho.But with the farmers taking out fence rows and brush piles rabbits turkey and deer need to reproduce it’s becoming more and more necessary to trap bobcats and coyotes. You can look up videos of it (you might find it graphic) of bobcats killing deer and turkeys. They say a bobcat can kill a deer 4 times it’s weight so a 40# tom can kill a 160# deer wich is any whitetail doe and young buck. They catch a lot and f turkeys bc they are very skilled hunter and sneak up close so if a turkey goes to fly away the cat can still jump and catch it, also videos on that.

Bobcats take down deer, rabbits, quail, basically everything that I enjoy hunting. State hunting regulations are in place to protect the numbers. Thanks for watching.

@FullCircleOutdoors the difference is, bobcats hunt them to survive. You hunt them for your 'enjoyment'.

@@spartanthe300ththermopylae4 Humans have right to hunt and trap animals. We hunt not only for enjoyment but also for food. And if we do that, it is responsible to keep predator in check to protect the game animals populations.
