How to make a cloisonne enamel humming bird pendant.(enameling technique)

In this video I'm going to show you how to make this cloisonne enamel humming bird pendant. This is a tutorial where I show the cloisonne technique. I started with cutting out the shape with my saw. It's a square pendant and I folded up the sides to give it a nice frame. I marked everything and I cut out the shape. I also cut out the corners. I scored the lines where the material is going to fold. I used my steel blocks and a hammer to fold up the sides.
Next I applied a layer of black enamel on the back and a layer of clear on the front. After I folded the cloisonne wires to match the design. I placed the wires on the surface of the pendant using a tweezer and glue. Fired it in my kiln.
Next I'm applying the colors, firing it and repeat the process three more times.
Last step is the sanding process. Enamel loses it's shine during this process so I fire it again to get the shine back.
And it's done! I hope you like it and learned something new!
