it's irrelevant The theory is just for the conversion of Binary Coded Decimal to 7 Segment Display it basically just explains how the I.C. works CA (Common Anode) and CC (Common Cathode) Only becomes relevant when you buy the Display it would be just like asking, is this also for 7 Segment Display with D.P. (Decimal Point) or not again.. that becomes relevant when you buy the Chip and / or the L.E.D. as for the theory it's not relevant
