Gooooood!! I’ve been wanting to remove the the cdv for over a year. This summer i finally will get down and do it. You’re doing all the right bits, well done :)
I too have "stock" clutch and were one of viewers that shared this awesome tip to miniBros. It actually saves/a plus to your stock clutch. Especially if you're mini is no longer "stock". A great step prior to replacing clutch.
so just to double check at 14:00 you mention the rubber nipple being needed to stop the slave from leaking. is that the rubber piece that holds the cdv in place and needs removing to get the cdv out?
@MiniBrothas perfect, was really stumped on this particular job since no one else who has done this mentioned whether it should stay in or not. You sir have earned a subscriber :)
Thanks for your comment. We didn't have to take off the master cylinder. We did disconnect the slave cylinder to make it easier to pump, but we showed that in the video.
I’m not even a mini Cooper owner but somehow stumbled upon this. Learn something everyday. I own a Porsche but still found this cool
Glad you found it cool. How do you like your 992.1? I’m thinking about getting a Porsche.

Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying the content.
Sounds intriguing, but since I have a stock clutch I think I'll keep mine as is. I appreciate the information though!
You’re welcome. Thanks for staying tuned in.

Did you finally have to take off the master cylinder or was the valve in the line plug?
