I can't believe you got to do that to your rug 😍. Honestly my eyes were watering and I felt a sneeze coming on just watching that. My allergies and asthma would never let me. You've inspired me to do the dreaded clean under the sofa 😩
If you hoover the underside of your rug the beater bar on the hoover beats all of the dust out of the rug then you can move the rug and hoover up all the bits😊

When wiping down walls, etc I put hot water, a drop of soap and a disinfectant in a bucket with about 10 washclothes. Use one to wash and put to the side and grab a new one, that way you don't get the water dirty. So much better than using a ton of wipes.

I really enjoyed ur spring clean. Its crazy the amount of stuff that gathers under a sofa. I pull mine out regularly and theres always dust etc.
I actually done away with my big rug cos i cudn be copin with the dust n dirt that stuck n it. I just got smaller 1s that i cud machine wash. I mostly buy floor wipes now cos i love how big they r. U hav a beautiful home.

A wee tip for the rug, turn it upside down and hoover the underneath of it. The vibrations of the hoover shake anything out, then you can pick it up and see what’s come out of it!
Tip for scuff marks on skirtings and doors, Flash Magic Eraser... 👍

Cheaper option than tiles is put down lino ontop of your tiles it will look amazing or you could paint your tiles a darker colour again cheaper and less messy.
Always used fabreeze on my carpets and rugs curtains and blinds everything really. Great video. Your hoover is Brilliant so want a shark

Have you tried the flash speed mop? It’s soo good I’m normally on my hands and knees washing the floors with wipes I don’t like mops as I think they just spread the dirt around the speed mop is much more hygienic and a space saver too no bucket required lol love this vid x😀

Eilidh so so glad you have put this video up, what detergents are u specifically using for coronavirus, i have bleach, dettol lavender, zoflora, pine disinfectant and i dont know whats most effective, can u please do a video on this topic, the information im finding is so complicated, ive been using dettol wipes but apparently ive found out the coronavirus fighting ingredient on the pack of this isnt for this particular coronavirus! Thanks lovely❤️
So glad you enjoyed it! I really don't know what specifically what kills it - I am using zoflora and anti bacterials as usual in my home and following the advice on hand washing and hand gels when out. To be honest I think it's such a new virus that no one is really sure yet! xx
Eilidh Wells cheers so much for replying, ill just continue to use everything i get my hands on, ive been reading neat bleach with water is best but everyone has different methods, who knows, cheers againxx
@@carolb9208 hi sorry to barge in but please remember that many anti bacterial cleaners work best if you leave them a few minutes before wiping away. They usually say on the bottles if you should leave them :)
Do you remember the colour of the paint you used in your hallway? I'm after something similar. Does it mark easily?
The green colour is mizzle by farrow and ball but we had it colour matched by valspar! It’s been fine actually and doesn’t mark xx
