I just tested it out! Yes the Dedede painting can smash stakes like Hammer and Stone! So the ability can: Put out fires Cut Grass/Rope Smash stakes Paint signs
Glad you liked it. I would like to do more in the future, if I can. Biggest problem is that I had to get my Switch repaired and lost all of my saved data, so I have to finish the game again to do these.
