Alway love learning new punjabi words
Thanks for these. Am I right in thinking that whether the word is masculine if it ends in aa and feminine if it ends in ee?
No problem! Yes, so most nouns that end in ‘aa’ are masculine and most nouns that end in ‘ee’ are feminine. But this isn’t the case with all words, such as ‘ghar (home)’ is a masculine word and ‘gaajer (carrot) is a feminine word. Such words are picked up as you further learn the language.
@@navrup Thank you 🙂
Thank s
Using your videos to teach my wife Punjabi and my mom, English. Two birds with one stone.
Thanks a lot 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Some feedback:
Videos could use better grouping and titles by topics.
Speed could be little slower
No problem!
Thank you for the feedback, I will try my best to incorporate into future videos!🙏🏼
For child, what’s the difference between buch-aa and nay-aa-naa? 🤔
So both of those words mean a child, buchaa can be specifically used for a baby. And nayaanaa can be used specifically for a small child.
But they can both be used interchangeably, it’s just personal preference. Hope that helps.
Thank you so much!!
