this song reminds me of a friends parents that met at a bar and eventually got married then when he was 12 or so and his father died of a heart attack right infront of him and his two brothers. but the thing is everyone on the dads side thinks it was one of his brothers fault so now they lost contact with them. every time i listen to this song i always think about what he might have been going through when he was that age. its sad when shit like this happens to good people. :'(

I might hate that people like Sam Hunt and Dan + Shay and FGL get their songs played on country stations now, but this dude has to be the least talented person on the radio these days. His voice sounds so fake and accent so damn forced. He's from freaking Missouri. Plus the lyrics for this song are so damn lame. There are hardly any songs in country these days that actually tell a story. There's tons that are half assed attempts tell a story but never actually get into depth which is sad because that's what country used to all be.
