Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, Somerset will open its gates on Saturday 11th July for the Royal Navy’s premier airshow. The Air Day, one of the Southwest’s largest one day events, will offer an action-packed day out for all the family with thrilling flying displays and plenty to see and do on the ground. Whether you’re a wide-eyed first timer or a seasoned air show veteran, be prepared for an amazing experience!
The award-winning airshow attracts over 35,000 visitors, significant UK/Foreign military participation and support from the world’s leading aerospace companies. Air Day continues to build on its success having won Gold at the South West Tourism Excellence Awards 2013 and Bronze at the national Visit England Awards for Excellence 2013.
Over five hours of spectacular flying displays will include fast jets, historic warbirds, helicopters, formation display teams, aerobatics and will culminate with the world renowned Commando Assault Finale featuring troops, aircraft and pyrotechnics galore!
