I can clarify: This is after all the recording of the first performance of 26 November 1958. What I have are recordings of the rehearsals of the days before also made by NDR at the time, hence slight differences. Hats off again to you, kadoguy!

Sorry, kadoguy, to post this directly, but I couldn't find contact information on your channel. First: Warmest congrats on your channel and its contents. However: This, I am fairly sure, is in fact not a recording of Henze's Kammermusik's first performance in Hamburg in November 1958. I own a recording of that performance provides directly from the NDR archives and there are distinct differences. This might be, however, the BBC recording of June 1959 under Mackerras which would be amazingly interesting as well. In fact, as it is unmistakably Pears singing, of course, this is about the only other possible option. I wouls be extremely grateful if you could say something about the source of this soundfile.
For me, this kind of thing was at the extremes of pure artistic expression in the post-war period, a magical time, before the swinging 60’s.

I remember performing this piece at the University of the Arts in their New Music Group as a double bass student.
