I think it's really true that every mothers in this world is the same! Like your mother, every year my mother (typical aunty like how you described! 😆) also always says she doesn't want to buy a lot but ended up, buying more and more! Few fridge also not enough! Haha! Your preparation of reunion dinner also reminds me of my childhood I would need to help out with my aunties to prepare a huge reunion dinner for 7 families! 😆 Wow! 先说一句新年快乐! Scallops要吃澳洲野生Far West的，要不然就北海道sashimi grade的(很多品牌)，两者价位比较高，但都很鲜甜，还有一股scallops的鲜香味。
千万别买那种盒子写是北海道、或美国、或加拿大的，可是细看里面是pack in China的。那种普遍上看起来很大粒，可是是泡过水的，鲜甜味都走失了，严重的甚至口感有点胶质。
