You’re renting the website from these companies [i.e any website builder like WIX, Square, etc.]. So when you stop paying, all of those files and pages are either lost or held by the company. With WordPress, you own the files, and no one can prevent you from moving them to other hosts." An important point in my eyes.
You forgot to mention that website builder does not offer the opportunity to move your site to another host, if needed. That is very important to know. You lose all your wok.
I still do not know. My website person passed away. I do not know about this world and have not starting point on who to trust my website to do what is most important for my services.
