Lyrics:
[Intro]
Yeah, bringing you another disturbing creation
From the mind of one sick animal who can't tell the difference
And gets stupified
[Verse 1]
I've been waiting my whole life for just one fuck
And all I needed was just one fuck
How can you say that you don't give a fuck?
I find myself stupified, coming back again
All I wanted was just one fuck
One tiny, little, innocent fuck
And when I feel like I'm shit out of luck
I find myself stupified, coming back again
[Pre-Chorus]
Why do you like playing around with
My narrow scope of reality?
I can feel it all start slipping
I think I'm breaking down
Why do you like playing around with
My narrow scope of reality?
I can feel it all start slipping away
[Chorus 1]
See, but I don't get it
Don't you think maybe we could put it on credit?
Don't you think it can take control when I don't let it?
I get stupified! "It's all the same", you say
Live with it, but I don't get it
Don't you think maybe we could put it on credit?
Don't you think it can take control when I don't let it?
I get stupified! I get stupified!
[Verse 2]
All the people in the left wing, rock
And all the people in the right wing, rock
And all the people in the underground, rock
I find myself stupified, coming back again
All the people in the high-rise, rock
And all the people in the projects, rock
And all gente in the barrio, rock
I find myself stupified, coming back again
[Pre-Chorus]
Why do you like playing around with
My narrow scope of reality?
I can feel it all start slipping
I think I'm breaking down
Why do you like playing around with
My narrow scope of reality?
I can feel it all start slipping away
[Chorus 1]
See, but I don't get it
Don't you think maybe we could put it on credit?
Don't you think it can take control when I don't let it?
I get stupified! "It's all the same", you say
Live with it, but I don't get it
Don't you think maybe we could put it on credit?
Don't you think it can take control when I don't let it?
I get stupified! I get stupified!
[Interlude]
Tefached
Tefached
[Bridge]
And don't deny me
No, baby now, don't deny me
And darling, don't be afraid
[Chorus 2]
But I don't get it
Don't you think maybe we could put it on credit?
Don't you think it can take control when I don't let it?
I get stupified!
[Outro]
Look in my face, stare in my soul, I begin to stupify!
Look in my face, stare in my soul, I begin to stupify!
Look in my face, stare in my soul, I begin to stupify!
Look in my face, stare in my soul, I begin to stupify!
Look in my face, step in my soul
Look in my face, step in my soul
Look in my face, step in my soul
Look in my face, step in my soul
Look in my face!(Step in my soul)
Look in my face!(Step in my soul)

The early 2000's was a Rocking time for music...
music was good up til 2007-2009, then all that pop shit took over. late 60's to 2007 minus disco, dance metal and good part of rap. can't wait for the pendulum to shift . this pop shit is horrible.
I always liked how the song gets down to business right away. Just hooks you in from the get go.
I like how shit is censured, and fuck is not.
Because they can say it was really " rock"...fuck is more to it though. censorship is getting out of hand...
+Jennifer Isaacs on tiny little innocent... rock? pshhh... yeah right

@Petty Cod isn't metal just a subgenre of rock? I'm not sure where/when the hard fork happens.
Not discrediting your opinion - it's actually a good point. To me, Rock is the family. Rock'n'Roll is the classic shit like the Stones, Chuck Berry even. Then there's Surf Rock, heavy metal, etc.
But now I'm not sure, because by my logic Punk would have to fall under rock, too... But then it makes "punk rock" not fit in anywhere because that's bridging punk into the rock scene.
Fuck bud, you've kinda blown my mind right now. 🤯

The singer uses his voice truly as if it was an instrument. Like no other in my opinion. I'm new to this band having been raised on Black Sabbath and Slayer. The riffs are catchy, but truly this singer is awesome.
His voice is like nails on a chalk board.....
Well, here's a bit of info, that might raise an eyebrow for ya. When David Draiman was a kid, his grandmother would take him to their Jewish Catholic church every Sunday. And, before he became a rock singer, he was training to be a Cantor boy, for the church choir! And, because of his serious training experience, he also hates using the machine, that corrects most of the vocalists sound in the recording studio. It's also why he and their manager argued about using it, when they debuted the cover of the Simon & Garfunkel song Sound Of Silence, on the talk show, when he was sick. And get this! They found, that it didn't even kick in, but for a split second, that whole time! It's also why, along with Disturbed, Metallica and a few of the older bands, don't use the machine. Because, they are constantly touring, so much, that they hone their voice, to be able to sound just as good live, as they do in the studio. I forget the name of the machine. But, it was created back in the early 80's. It has been a while since I have even thought about it, really. A7X is another one of the bands, that has chosen to take the longer, but more fruitful path, than most of the pop singer's do. And, David spent 7 month's with a trainer, to be able to get the specific sound in his voice, that is super hard to do. And, when Disturbed was recording the cover song of Simon & Garfunkel, Simon just happened to be a couple of studios down from them. And, he heard them recording the track of the song that he wrote and gave them high appraisal for it, as well...
Yep. Awhile back I read an interview with the vocalist. In that interview he said that one way he helps care for his vocal chords is by continually hydrating with "gallons" of water.
Like no other in your opinion? Ever hear of a guy named AL jougenson? When Stephen Spielberg was hired to finish the movie A.I. he set out to find the most unique band with the most raw sound. He found ministry and immediately AL went to work on what I consider to be the greatest ministry tune of all time...what about us? Spielberg even included them in the movie at the 'Flesh Fair' and the official video for the song is awesome as well.
Spielberg described Al's voice as someone gargling with gravel. Pretty much nailed it.
You know it’s gonna be a week when this plays on the radio first thing Monday

This comment is dumb on so many levels.
A) there is a ton of good music out there, including a huge and diverse metal scene. The fact that you arent away re w of it or haven't bothered to seek it out does not mean that it doesnt exist.
B) This.... this IS commercial music. It's a dumbed down radio-friendly version of metal made to cater to meatheads and the mainstream.
C) what genre exactly do you think this represent that is dying? Nu-metal? Good, it sucked. Heavy metal? Well, this isnt heavy metal, and heavy metal certainly isnt dying.
Etc etc etc...
