Awesome. I married my wife on my 1st year in medical school. We had our first baby the next year. It wasn't really easy especially the financial aspect. But I'm glad i pulled through and some couple of side hustles/ investments helped me.
@@coleenmark1301 I had similar experience at first but I got to know better when I reached out for an expert trader. He handles all my trading activities while I monitor the progress because i barely have time from my studies then and my work now. It's not free though, he takes 25% of profits he makes for me while I take 75%,
Go check out JR’s channel, Evolving Medic, if you haven’t already! Thanks so much for sharing your stories and best of luck as you and your family grow through med school :)
As someone who is now doing post bacc courses while working full time to apply to medical school around 30 years old, this gave me a lot of hope. I’ve definitely worried about how entering medical school around the time where I might also be wanting to have children would even be possible and this gave me comfort. Thank you so much for this video. I’m also subscribed to JR’s channel and found your channel more recently. Love that you guys collabed and wishing you both lots of success.
Wow I actually follow both of you this is incredible! I’m glad your branched out to a doctor in this situation because a lot of people can relate to this. Great interview 🙏🏽
I’ve been a dad for 2 years and am just finishing my undergrad. I think we will have another before we start med school. I love your thoughts on the subject. There is always another reason to put off having kids. I love my daughter and she provides a lot of meaning and motivation to keep working.
Wow I loved this episode on navigating the family/ medical work life! As a woman considering the field, I would be really interested to hear from female who just entered into her motherhood journey.
I needed to hear this! I'm married with two children and I fear that I will not balance studying and family time well. My family is always priority and this fear is definitely a stumbling block. My wife is super supportive and finance wouldn't be an issue since I'd be doing it through the military. Thank you for this!
i am curious to ask everyone's opinion whether your in med school or not. How is med school and holding a relationship? I want to find someone which I am looking for someone at the moment as a pre med and everyone I speak to says its impossible to do both, however I dis agree because in med school or not as a doctor you will always be very busy. Seeing the Evolving Medic in a relationship and now having a child, working on being a doctor is extremely impressive and gains my full respect cognates doctor.
Hey Andy!! Love your content bro and it’s absolutely amazing and inspiring how you work hard not only as medstudent but also as a Podcaster and UA-camr!! Esp the 73 question series was so ingenious🙌🏽 I just wanted to make a request if possible can you have KharmaMedic, Elizabeth Filips and Zach Highley on this podcast too!! They too are really great youtubers/med students in their own right I’d love to see them here😄
So honored to be on your podcast and loved our conversation bro! 🔥
Hey papa medic. I haven't watched you in a while bro. :(

Hello Dr...can you give me a pointer on what worked for you. I'm not married yet but I have a kid and I'm still a student
I ventured into financial market trading. Such as stock and fx market. Till now I still profit from it.
Hello Dr. How did you combine trading with studies.
I've tried fx few months back but I get confuse at some point.

Great vid man! Does anybody know what the intro instrumental is called? I want to add that to my study playlist.

As a med student, that outlook alert triggered me 😂
Ahahaha sorry
@@NDMD you’re good brother! Thanks for the video! Keeps me sane during school.
What's your age Andy?
Who takes care of the baby when your wife is at work and you are at class? You must pay for childcare?
