I disagree. Her boyfriend made uncomfortable moves towards her daughter Jody and it made her feel uncomfortable. By keeping it a secret, she's withholding a problem that needed immediate action because technically, that behavior is considered inappropriate and potential harassment.

I don't think she was overacting. Lacey Chabert was just doing her best with what they gave her.
She was a good actress, but her voice, I can only take in small portions.
