The ad states that the senator promotes males playing on a girls basketball team. The ad then claims the senator has coerced hospitals to perform sex reassignment surgery. I’m sure some people will fall for this as. They would rather believe this as opposed to Senator Casey’s record. In September 2021, after heavy rains flooded the Schuylkill River - where many roadways were flooded - I saw Senator Casey on a walk through with area officials, to assess the damage to our area.

Come prepared with the receipts, you know they are going to lie, so catch them in it and make them look like fools. If you do it with everyone on both sides of the aisle, you become the litmus test of whether a politician is “good enough” to be in politics. Any political news program that does this consistently will get themselves the best ratings (given that chasing ratings is why they don’t do it).

In reference to lying to the press, I recommend looking at the Australian ABC and shows like the 7:30 Report and 4 Corners. Come prepared with the receipts, you know they are going to lie, so catch them in it and make them look like fools. If you do it with everyone on both sides of the aisle, you become the litmus test of whether a politician is “good enough” to be in politics.
Any political news program that does this consistently will get themselves the best ratings (given that chasing ratings is why they don’t do it).
As long as the News has advertisements, there is no incentive for them to be honest in the face of a good story.
It is profoundly sad that so many Americans have given up on personal ethics and morals as prerequisites for public office. You reap what you sow if Trump ever holds office again.

THIS! I don't accept lies from co-workers or my kids. I am normally a conservative voter here in Australia. When GW's invasion of Iraq was about to start, Australia pledged support and sent troops. I had no problem with that. When our conservative PM, John Howard was asked by a journalist if that would raise our risk of domestic terrorism, Howard replied "No". Which was an out and out lie. He lost me at that point. He treated me as a fool, blind Freddy could tell that yes, our domestic terrorism threat was likely to increase, if Howard had been truthful and said, yes there will be some increase, but our alliance with the US is more important, I would have supported that. But treat me like a fool, and you've lost my vote. Next election cycle he was voted out.
I'm waiting for a Lincoln Proj ad compiling the HUNDREDS of times "I don't know anything about that" has passed Tr*mp's lips in front of a mic since 2015 ... usually said when confronted on the subject & right after causing a big fuss by mentioning whatever 'that' was in the media.

How can we stop the lying? Through making it against the law for a politician to lie to the public. It's that simple. Probably hard to get passed in Congress because politicians would have to vote against their own self interests, but that's the only solution. And Michael, please stop interrupting this guy. He didn't get to complete a single thought!! It's rude and annoying!!
