I've encountered the same issue mentioned earlier-since all my speakers are Alexa, this integration unfortunately doesn’t work for me. I wanted to leave a note of thanks for the video and express my hope that a future integration with UA-cam Music will be developed and fully compatible with Alexa devices.
great video. worked pretty easy.. expect it shows everytime a media error when I try to pick a playlist or something else. doesnt matter if I try it with your blueprint or directly via device.. how can I solve this?
Ok, I just have to ask, can this same setup be made for Alexa? This would be epic!! Please say its possible, and that you would think about it... I will even kick some money down to help you out develop an easy to use Alexa dashboard style thing like this....
Sorry, I actually investigated this not so long ago, and it's a limitation from the Alexa devices themselves, amazon didn't implement a way for it to play audio using a URL, which is part of what the integration does to work.
@@fixtse.well thank you for the response. This is the first tutorial that involves me doing anything with “code” that worked. I am not good at yaml stuff and anything else I have tried like this hasn’t worked. So BRAVO!!!🙌 for the awesome tutorial and help. Sent you a few bucks, thanks again.
There's a blueprint error, can you look at it? Invalid blueprint: extra keys not allowed @ data['blueprint']['input']['shuffle']['selector']['sort']. Got None
So I am missing the second option to select the ytubemedia player. I pick the YT Music Player, YT Music Player I pick the entity Media Player, Home Theater The next line does not have the YT Music Player as an option. just the same list of music players. Any ideas??
Hey, yes, Echo devices are not supported by this integration. The Alexa Media Player does not allow to just send a stream URL to play which is what this integration uses, so there is no way to add support for them, until amazon makes that possible (which is unlikely).
Es cierto, pero ese es un tema más de los reproductores alexa que de la integración. Amazon no permite a sus dispositivos reproducir media desde una url, que es la funcionalidad que esta integración utiliza para el resto de reproductores.
Hi, it does work for sonos speakers, but it needs aditional configuration. github.com/KoljaWindeler/ytube_music_player?tab=readme-ov-file#proxy check it out.

Never mind, deleted the blueprint and redownloaded it and it was fine. Thanks again.
Do you like it better than music assistant?
Not entirely, I miss the crossfade from music assistant, but the ability to move music to other speakers compensates for it
Doesn't seem to be working with echo's. At least it doesn't work for me. Maybe someone else got it to work properly?
Great video tho!

Gracias, una pena que no funcione correctamente con algunos media player como los de amazon.
