If the car is manual and stopped on inclination, you can use handbrake, rev it up to 3000 RPM in first gear and release handbrake. You'll easily go up from standstill. This needs a little bit of practice beforehand.

make sure you never ride on clutch while performing this trick, otherwise clutch will burn away.
