I rlly enjoyed this video. I love seeing yummy food and hearing your free flowing thoughts overtop felt comfortable and low maintenance. thank you from an introvert
As a parent, the changes never stop, they just evolve. I have a son who turned 21 in 2022 and a daughter who turned 14 and the changes are interesting. I will say that. Our family is trying very hard to eat healthier, so I appreciate your channel a lot. Also, I think you’re smart and keeping your kid off of social media. I do appreciate hearing the baby noises in the background though and you’re responding because it really does show what parenting is like all the time.
Life happens and tbh I never went out much unless it's to 2nd hand stores. My friend and I would pack our own lunches and drink and chill out at a park or mall after shopping. This saves money, stress of going to resturants and 9 times out of 10 anything I can get in a resturant I can make at home. And with kids there is going to be a lot of ups and downs. First 3 yrs my parents worked alternative shifts only seeing each other a few minutes a day and weekends. They were married for 45+ yrs. And momma burnout like caregiver burnout is a thing. Give yourself credit where credit is due and make sure to give yourself small moments of you-time.
"Tiny alien nugget." That's the perfect description of a newborn.😂 I've only used tiny alien and the parents did not like that at all.😬 I definitely should have added nugget, it sounds so cute with that.
Other side note on rice safety: in the US, vitamins and minerals are added to packaged rice so washing it removes them. Most countries don't nutritionally supplement rice, though. those mushrooms look so good! definitely grating the smoked tofu I have in the fridge later. :)
@@Thevietvegan dry! It’s apparently not usually done for export to non-aid nations though, so we don’t need to worry about washing California rice. (Rice sent as food aid to other countries is a whole different story.) They are required to fortify wheat, corn flour, and rice.
Hi, I am a new subie, i enjoy your recipes and i would like to cook them all . however it's hard to obtain the setian and other vegan things from Costco here in the Philippines. I can't wait to go back in LA this summer so I can but all those vegan products and cook your recipes.
@@Thevietvegan Thanks, it looks amazing, but those sources seem to be Canadian and I'm a po' girl in the US. I love smoked foods, but most are dead animals.
@@Thevietvegan ohhhhh that makes sense. I thought you only had one baby but it kept throwing me off lol 😂 Bean sounds so stinking cute in the background ❤️ thank you for responding , I respect your privacy
Tofu is just curdled and pressed soy milk, which you commonly drink "raw" (I assume?). One common way to eat tofu is raw, chilled, and topped with a soy-sauce based sauce and some green onions, it's very nice in the summer!
But, seriously though, watching you make and put together those layers of lasagna is somehow soothing and therapeutic to watch, ya know?! 😂🥰🧘🏽♀️
I don't mind having less content! I enjoy rewatching old content too. I know you have different priorities now.

WHOA really? I have never heard of that. Is it for prepared rice or like...dry rice?

HNY, Lisa and family!
The smoked tofu I eat was hard to find during the pandemic, too! Only finally started getting them again a 3-4 months ago I think? Weird.
IT'S BACK?!?! (I haven't seen the smoked tofu in my local grocery store in years, and also assumed it was discontinued for Canada)
I’ve seen it reappear in Alberta :)

GIRL. WHEN I TELL YOU I THOUGHT YOU POURED SAUCE ON YOUR STOVE BURNER 9:20 😳😳😂😂
Yum, but where do you get smoked tofu? I can't find it locally and even Amazon doesn't have it!
I find it at Metro or Food Basics!

was it the PC veggie lasagna? because i ate that a lot in my uni days.
I think so? We shopped at no frills a lot so that sounds likely!
Still crying over the fact that I cannot find smoked tofu near me at all anywhere. I've been looking since 2016.
Love the new videos 🥰 happy new year to you and your family. You keep saying they when talking about baby did you have twins 😮
I use they/them pronouns for my singleton baby because I don’t share their sex online

I still can't find any smoked tofu around me in Arizona. 😭😭😭
Noooooooo tragedy :( This would work with like, pressed tofu though! The smoked is optional really.
@@Thevietvegan I love smoked tofu, but haven't had it for almost 3 years. I tried making my own using my gas grill, but didn't work. 😭
No captions? 😥
🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰❤️
Specifically, if you are a baby... 🤣

Is smoked Tofu cooked?.......i always thought tofu had to be cooked ?
All tofu is cooked already! Theyre cooked curds pressed into blocks
